You come home to an unwelcome surprise

It's a Monday afternoon and you've just come home after participating in a panel at a fan convention as your web comic has started blowing up recently. Quietly, you slink into your apartment, carefully shutting the door behind you, hoping to surprise your girlfriend after catching an earlier flight home.
