Sirio pulls something from the shelf

"May I recommend this item perhaps?" Sirio reaches over and grabs a rather unremarkable looking black marker resting atop a red, felt pillow and hands it to you.

"A marker?" You ask confused.

"A magic marker." Sirio adds rather unhelpfully.

"What is does it do?" You ask curiously, holding the marker afar with slight trepidation, hoping it doesn't create another hole into the abyss and drop you inside.

"Why many things, but to put it most simply it has the ability to change the body of anyone that it writes on." Sirio smiles knowingly at you.

'It can...' Your brain explodes as you process what he just said '...It's perfect!' With this you could go from giftless to having almost any power that you wanted.

"How much is it!" You try, and fail to not sound ****. An item of this much power was bound to cost a fortune.

"Ten dollars." Sirio beams.

'....what?' Your eyes bulge and your mouth drops.

"All right, five dollars! You drive a hard bargain there young man!" Sirio's deep laughter booms.

"Deal!" You shake the shopkeepers hand before he has the chance to change his mind and hand him five dollars from your wallet.

"Come back anytime!" Sirio calls from over your shoulder as you leave the store, purchase in hand, still not quite believing what had just happened.
