When Emily and Yan Yan were following Mina, the old Carmen saw them running to the fifth floor. She didn't like young kids, all they do is just waste their time drinking or playing, going to parties or surfing on the waves. All the things she never did.

The old woman was tired, she spent the last 30 years working on this hotel trying to reach the top by hardworking, unlike those lazy young brats she sees frequently. But every time she is up to do something significant, something unexpected ruins all of her efforts. 20 years ago, an earthquake significantly damaged the hotel infrastructure, turning down her approved schema to expand the main building. The big guys just blamed her for expending their resources, when the actual owner rejected a plan to upgrade the infrastructure with anti-seismic technology a few years ago. Events like that keep happening during the years, degrading her plenty of times.

She was beyond mad when that girl, Kim, was promoted to manager instead of her. Carmen worked hard, much more than anyone she saw there. Everyone knew that all Kim did was open her legs to that old pig of the owner. She wasn't the prettier one, but she was willing to do anything he said and the next day it was official.

It wasn't easy, but she accepted without protest to be her secretary. That way she might have somewhere to keep working on her dream, which seems to be far away every day... But then Mina...

All the good inside of her seemed to be buried alive, when Kim said that Mina was promoted to be her personal assistant. A little brat who didn't know how to dress properly, who wasn't working there for even a year, who never was worried for her future.

She was old, nothing could change that. She was tired, every day was harder. She needed to cross the line... She must take Kim out there one way or the other. And she had an idea of how to do it.

A couple of girls were following Mina, they were spying on her as she entered Kim's office. Carmen saw them as she went to deliver some documents to Kim, and noticed the girls hiding next to the door. They seemed to be tourists in the hotel, meaning they don't have much time there. Probably they listened to something interesting, or at least have a good reason to follow Mina. That might be her best chance to do something about Kim and Mina.

As the girls were leaving, before they took the stairs she talked to them “You girls cannot be here.”

Emily almost jumped from the surprise “Ahh! Ehm... Sorry we were just…” Yan Yan didn’t move or react at all.

Carmen was examining them “Come with me. Now.”

The woman irradiates authority in her voice, which is hard to ignore. Emily wasn't sure what to do, and Yan Yan didn’t seem to care about anything. They just followed her.

Ashley began her denial phase "I see! This is just a dream..." She relaxed, "That's the only logical explanation..."

Trisha didn’t arge “(Yeah...)”

Emily just ended her phone call and turned around to face Carmen’s eyes “I've already talked with the girls. They found it and are coming here now.”

Carmen didn’t smile, but she wanted to “Good, but we will need it as evidence.”

That idea wasn't appealing for Emily “No!... I mean... It's just... Fine.”

The way Emily behaved was odd for Carmen, even considering the situation they were in "(She is hiding something important) One more thing, I need you to identify the guy you mentioned" She showed them pictures of the male employees for her archive.
