Dark Amy vs. Dark Buffy, round one

And just like that, future Amy, Kennedy and Halfrek appeared on the roof of a downtown skyscraper that appeared to be miles away from Sunnydale High. Of the three of them, only Halfrek had clothes on, and for some odd reason, it was already nighttime.

Halfrek smiled and said, "Hey, after everything you put me through back there, I had to take advantage of some loophole in order to -- Hey!"

With a quick chant and a magical gesture, future Amy automatically transferred Halfrek's black dress to her body and then smirked.

"Oh, don't gloat," said Halfrek. "It's not very ladylike."

"Be happy I left you your underwear, Halfrek," said future Amy. "Now where's Dark Buffy?"

"Over there by that roof entrance,"said Kennedy, hurriedly pointing.

Then she remembered she was naked and she hastily covered herself.

Then she turned toward Halfrek and said, "Really, Halfrek? I can understand wanting to get back at Amy --"

"Dark Amy," said Halfrek.

"No, AMY," said Kennedy. "I don't call what you call her. She's still Amy to me."

"How sentimental," said a feminine voice in the shadows by the roof entrance.

Dark Buffy emerged from the shadows and said, "I suppose you're here to rescue Faith, aren't you, Amy? And you even brought along your little girlfriend to help out."

"I'm not her girlfriend," said Kennedy, hastily crossing her arms over her chest and then too late remembering her uncovered vagina. "I'm her bodyguard."

"Actually she is my girlfriend," said future Amy. "What's it to you?"

"Nothing really," said Dark Buffy. "I seem to remember you being more into guys back when I knew you at Sunnydale High. But then I guess you've changed a lot since then, Amy. Or should I call you Dark Amy?"

"Who the hell is this Dark Amy everyone keeps mentioning?" asked Kennedy.

"Why, Dark Amy is this big bad witch who once took down a god," said Dark Buffy. "For the longest while, I thought she was just something out of a dream I could not remember all that well but then I became a demon -- ahem -- I mean, angel -- and hey, then I remembered that she was for real."

"I have no idea what you're talking about," said future Amy.

"Of course you don't, Amy," said Dark Buffy. "You're still human. But you'll join our side eventually. After all, you already admitted in regard to your girlfriend that you're not above changing teams, so to speak."

"Where's Faith?" asked future Amy.

"Around the corner from the roof entrance," said Dark Buffy. "But you'll never get to her. You see, I made a quick detour on the way here and picked myself up a bodyguard."

"A bodyguard?" asked Kennedy.

"Yes," said Dark Buffy as a young blonde woman in a Catholic schoolgirl's uniform emerged from the shadows behind her.

The woman in question had two revolvers in her hands and she could not help swaggering when she saw Kennedy and future Amy looking at her. She smirked when she glanced at Kennedy's uncovered pubes and then smiled.

"Hi," she said. "I'm Darla."

Then she raised the two revolvers and fired at point-blank range at future Amy's chest.

"And you're dead!" Darla cried.
