For a moment, Halfrek turned pale upon hearing future Amy's threat and started to tremble. Then she quickly regained her composure.

"My, my, my," said Halfrek. "So the Witch's Daughter has finally grown up. I suppose you're the one that they call Dark Amy."

"Who's Dark Amy?" asked Kennedy.

Future Amy and Halfrek both ignored the question and glared at each other.

"Sticks and stones, Halfrek," future Amy finally said in a glacial tone. "Now are you going to grant my wish now or should I start making that portal?"

"She's going to kill you, you know," said Halfrek. "Dark Buffy is a formidable enemy and unlike Vengeance Angel Amy, she's not likely to hold back when dealing with you."

"You appear to underestimate me," said future Amy. "For all you know, I might kill her. Now stop wasting my time and grant my wish!"

"Please don't do this, Amy," said Kennedy. "It isn't right."

"Damn it, Kennedy," said future Amy. "It's not about right. It's not about wrong. It's about power."

"Wait a minute," said Kennedy. "You're quoting the First now?"

"No," said future Amy. "The First was quoting me. Now how about that wish, Halfrek?"

"Very well," said Halfrek, taking out her earplugs. "You win. Repeat your wish and I'll grant it."

Future Amy smiled coldly and said, "I wish that Kennedy and I would go with you to wherever Dark Buffy took Faith and get there in time to save her --"

Halfrek started to say, "Wish granted" but saw future Amy raise her hand first.

Then future Amy continued, "I also wish that you, Halfrek, would stay with us until the conflict between me and Dark Buffy is over."

Halfrek glared at future Amy but nonetheless said, "Wishes granted."

And with that, the three of them disappeared into thin air.
