"Sleep now," Ms. Sterling says, laying her warm hand on your cheek.

And so you do.

You wake up, blinking, wondering where you are for a long minute. The Infirmary. But where is... "Ms Sterling?" you call out.

In the corner of the room, you see the hem of a vivid blue robe descending over a pale, peach-perfect pair of buttocks. Blood rushes to your manhood and to your face. Even as much as you've shared with Ms. Sterling...with Aurelia...you can't get over feeling like you're overstepping yourself.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Mothwing-Marshall." She raises her brows, arches of pale gold, above the circular blue lenses of her glasses. She's dressed the way she was when you met her on your first day of classes, blue and gold and glittering sapphire, tall and willowy. Her lips quirk, as if she's about to say something intimate, or something humorous. Or perhaps there's a laugh waiting to spill out.

"Good...afternoon? Ms. Sterling?"

"How are you feeling, Eric?" she asks. "You're not feverish?"

"Better," you say. "Good, actually." Except for the tightness below your waist and the heat in your cheeks.

Ms. Sterling adjusts her glasses and inspects you more fully. "Oh," she says. "I see."

"I mean, ah, I'm not tired, I mean," you tell her. Your blush fades and your manhood softens. You feel more at ease facing her.

"Very good," she says. "Bathe and dress and meet me in my office. I'll have tea ready." Her brisk, chatty manner from instructing Enchantments class has returned. But she moves a little differently. Something in the swing of her hips, like she's carrying something tender and important. "We have something serious to discuss."

Your face flushes hot again.

"Mr. Mothwing-Marshall," she says. "I know what you're thinking. Tut-tut. We are to discuss your exercises in self-control, so that you may master your Wild Talent."

She pauses to let you breathe deeply and compose yourself.

"Before it causes any more trouble for anyone else," she adds, making a pointed gesture at her belly.

You keep a stiff expression on your face by pure will. She was the one who climbed on top of you.

She taps you on the chin with a forefinger. "And stop trying to hold that silly face."

"Ms. Sterling?" you cry out. You blink. Her bright blue robes swirl as she turns. She's gone.

Time for a bath.
