What happens next?

A confrontation

Minutes after Willow and Tara left, Buffy noticed her mother Joyce staring at her in a suspicious manner.

"Apparently my little girl is all grown up," said Joyce.

"Well, I have been grown up for quite a while," said Buffy.

"You don't always act like it," said Joyce. "What really surprises is me is how accepting you were of that kiss. Here I always assumed that you just liked boys but apparently there's a lot more to you than I figured."

"Perhaps," said Buffy.

"I guess you just got tired of riding stick," said Joyce.

"No, I didn't," said Buffy. "Tara's just a friend and anyway -- What did you say?"

"You know what I said," said Joyce as she crossed her arms and stared at Buffy with a defiant expression.

"But I've never heard you use that phrase before," said Buffy. "Usually 'riding stick' is something that I only hear from F --"

And then Buffy stopped talking.

And noticed the cold smile on Joyce's face.

"How did you do it?" asked Buffy.

"Does it matter?" asked Joyce.

Then she rushed forward and grabbed Buffy by the back of the head while at the same time, kissing her full on the lips. Buffy pushed back but Joyce soon recovered and then proceeded to take off her dress. Once she was naked, Joyce threw her dress at Buffy's face and then used her left leg to trip her in the confusion, making her fall over.

Once again Joyce was upon her, only this time she was kneeling on Buffy's naked chest and holding her down.

"Damn it, Mom!" cried Buffy. "I don't want this."

"Mom?" asked Joyce with a laugh. "Mom? In the midst of all this, your first instinct is to call me 'Mom'? Geez, B, you really are messed up!"

Just then Buffy heard a door open.

And she heard someone run into the living room.

"Get away from her!" she heard someone cry in a familiar voice.

Buffy looked up to see a weary and disheveled yet still defiant Faith Lehane looking down at her and Joyce's naked bodies.

"Well, this is awkward," said Joyce.
