Good thing there's more than one magic-user in Sunnydale, right?

Kennedy hurriedly tried to stamp out the fire that present Amy had started on the pile of discarded clothes that were left behind when she turned future Amy into a rat.

But it was no use. By the time she got the fire out, most of future Amy's clothes were ashes and the largest item that Kennedy could salvage was a lone bra strap.

"Well, that's not likely to do her any good," said Jonathan.

"Ya think?" asked Kennedy in a sarcastic tone. "Now what am I going to do? Even if I can change Amy back into a human, she has absolutely nothing to wear. And as much as I appreciate the idea of a naked Amy, I don't think she would be all that happy about that."

"Well, I could always borrow some clothes for her from the high school theatrical department," said Jonathan. "They may not be her size but at least they'll provide covering for her. But shouldn't we be concentrating on the more important part?"

"What's that?" asked Kennedy.

"Turning her back into a human," said Jonathan.

"Yes, we should," said Kennedy. "But how are we going to do that? I don't have Amy's magical powers and neither do you as far as I know. And present Amy has already made it perfectly clear that she's not going to help us."

"We don't need present Amy to help us," said Jonathan. "Believe it or not, Amy Madison is not the only magic-user in Sunnydale."

"You know of others?" asked Kennedy.

"Well, my friend Warren might know something," said Jonathan.

"Er, I'd rather not talk to Warren about this," said Kennedy.

"Why do you say that?" asked Jonathan. "You haven't met him yet."

"No, I haven't," said Kennedy. "But I meet someone like him in the future and -- well, let's say things don't go well."

"Well, then there's always my friend Andrew," said Jonathan.

"I'd rather not talk to Andrew, either," said Kennedy.

"Gee, you're pretty fussy for someone who is so ****," said Jonathan.

"I have reason to be," said Kennedy. "Do you know of anyone else?"

"Well, there's this new guy downtown that Warren once told me about," said Jonathan. "His name is Rack and --"

"I'm sorry," said Kennedy. "I know you mean well, Jonathan, but I definitely don't want Amy getting any help from Rack. They have a history together -- at least in the future they do. And it's not a good one."

"Geez," said Jonathan. "So I'm guessing that this other guy Ethan Rayne is out of the question too?"

"Er, most definitely," said Kennedy.

"Well, who does that leave?" asked Jonathan. "It's not like Mr. Giles the Librarian is likely to know anything about magic."

"Of course!" exclaimed Kennedy. "Giles! I could talk to Giles! Thank you, Jonathan. I'm so happy right now I could kiss you."

And she did kiss him right there and then with an intensity that surprised Jonathan.

"Now let's go find Giles!" Kennedy exclaimed when she finally came up for air.
