"Change who back?" asked the Amy who had just transformed Kennedy's traveling companion into a rat.

"I am Amy," said present Amy.

"I meant the other Amy," said Kennedy.

"How do I know that Amy is for real?" asked present Amy.

"But she's not," said Kennedy. "You have my word on that."

"Well, I'm from the future and I'm a friend of your future self," said Kennedy.

"And that's supposed to mean what to me?" asked present Amy.

"Damn it, Amy!" exclaimed Kennedy. "Amy and I came here to help Buffy. You do remember Buffy, don't you?"

"Yes, I remember Buffy," said present Amy.

"Good," said Kennedy.

"So Buffy will vouch for you?" asked present Amy.

"Future Buffy will," said Kennedy. "Present Buffy doesn't know I exist yet."

"Well, good luck with your new pet then," said present Amy. "I've got to get to class."

"No, wait!" exclaimed Kennedy. "Please come back!"

But present Amy just waved her hand in a mock wave and walked off.

"Damn it!" exclaimed Kennedy. "If there was only some other way to turn her back into a human."

"Yes, if only," said Jonathan. "Hey, look Amy --- I mean, the other Amy -- is coming back."

"Thank God!" exclaimed Kennedy.

Present Amy walked up to Kennedy, looked down at the rat, picked it up and set it aside. Then with a quick chant and a quicker finger gesture, she set future Amy's discarded clothes on fire.

"Forgot something," present Amy said with a smirk.

Then she walked off again.
