She rejects her gift

Flora held Sonia close to her, undoing the gag and kissing her cheek before hugging her tightly. They wept together in terror, unsure if they would live through the night. Sonia couldn't find the strength to form words, and Flora continued crying onto her shoulder before flashing her eyes towards Mary from over Sonia's shoulder.

She was shocked to see what she was staring back into, not the eyes of a vampire glowing a deep red hue but her natural green elven eyes. Her body had adapted to the change, was she fighting against her own natural instinct to feed?

Flora pulled back and kissed the girl on the head before releasing her bonds, freeing her wrists and pushing her behind her for protection as she stared angrily at Mary. "No, i refuse."

"What?"

"I said i refuse! I don't want your stupid gift, and i want you out of my house now! Change me back and go!" Mary laughed in return, shaking her head in disbelief at what just happened. "I can't change you back, that's not how it works love. You're a vampire now, i can't just make you an elf once more. Not that you aren't one, just a much better one." She snickered.

Flora scanned the room, looking for anything to defend herself with. "No use fighting, i can react much quicker then a normal elf. You however, are inexperienced, a new body is all but foreign to you. I can teach you, but to do that you must embrace your gift."

"Sh-shut up! Uggh!" Flora cried out, clutching her stomach and crumbling under the pain. Sonia held her from behind, letting her rest on her for a moment. "Flora, what's wrong? Are you hurt?"

"She is, and she is going to be hurting a lot more if you don't give yourself in. Or what is it, would you rather I turn her too? Is that it, is this woman special to you? I can grant her the same gift i granted you, but you need to feed all the same. Your name, child?"

She looked up at her in fear before stuttering in her response. "S-Sonia."

"Sonia. Well Sonia, your friend and I are willing to share with you a gift that is worth your life. It will be an amazing experience, one filled with power, dominance, beauty and youth. You will be a new woman, a new you. What do you say?"

She stared for a moment before holding up Flora who appeared to be near fainting, then looking back at Mary. "You're killing her, just like you were about to kill me. Go fuck yourself with your gift!" Mary sighed and shrugged. "I was afraid this would get hostile. Another worthy child is lost, i suppose. Too bad, i really wanted to keep you too Flora. You were so beautiful."

Suddenly she disappeared into a reddish blur, crashing into Flora and Sonia. Flora fell from the bed and grumbled, wincing as she could hear Sonia gasp and sputter until silence took over. She wept silently and mourned for her friend before screaming in pain as she was lifted by her hair up on her knees. "If you so willingly deny your gift, then you are unworthy of it!" She twisted her around to face her captor, angrily staring into her eyes. Slowly her face softened and she fell to her knees with her before rubbing her cheek softly. "Forgive me child, I... tend to get rather emotional to such harsh words. I..." Without another word, she leaned forward and pressed her lips against the elf's own. Much to her regret, she found herself kissing back. They pulled back before Flora began to cry, weeping onto Mary's shoulder as she held her dearly. "Hush my child, hush. You have a new life now, but your body demands fuel and nutrients. You must drink before the body dries out."

Flora gasped and shook her head, cursing her own name for licking her lips at the smell of it. The room stunk of rich metallic iron, and she yearned to taste more. At this point it became apparent her fate was sealed, she was forever cursed to be a vampire now. How would her friends think of her now, how would her husband love her? She couldn't even love herself with what she has become.

Mary parted back, standing on her feet as she cleared her throat. "I offer you, one last time child. I can show you just how wonderful your new life will be, i only ask you to accept your gift and take my hand. Will you join us?" Mary asked with a hint of sincerity in her voice as she extended her hand out to her. Flora stared at her hand, noticing the many punctures made into her wrist and forearm, who knows how many vampires this woman made... or how many stayed that way. Her belly ached for a warm drink that lay breathless near her, and Mary awaited patiently for her response.

'If this is what i am now, it is not what will define me. I can't give in...i won't give in. But, perhaps i can stop this now and save everyone from my own fate. Maybe... if i get close enough and play my cards right. Just, give in for now and see how it goes, but i can't let myself go too far... i can't.'
