Pretend to be someone Maria knows

With time frozen, you catch up easily to Maria and her husband Keven. Without thinking, you give Maria a peck on the cheek and take in a whiff of her hair. It instantly reminds you of fucking her against the bar in the dark last night, giving your cock a jolt of life. You're tempted to grab her and teleport away to somewhere secluded where you can have her right away, but you look down at her holding onto her husband's hand, and a better idea pops into your head.

You stand about 10 feet away in front of the couple and act like you're walking towards them, before you let time resume. As everything around starts to move again, Maria's husband is about to grab the door to the boutique and open for her, when you call out to Maria.

"Maria! Fancy running into you here!" you exclaim, quickly closing the gap between you and them. Maria and Keven pause to look at you. Of course, neither of them knows who you are and they look a little confused.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Maria asks.

You laugh like she just told a joke. "Oh, that's funny! We just saw each other last night!" you say, shaking your head chidingly. "And, you were going to come over to my mansion tonight to continue our discussion, remember? For that follow up meeting?" you stress the words "follow up" and wink at the end of the sentence at Maria and her expression changes.

"Honey, I thought you had dinner with your friend last night?" Keven asks his wife.

"Oh, she was!" you interject, answering for Maria. "I just happened to be at that place too and ran into Maria at the bar. We even had shots together. I didn't want to, but she insisted!"

"Wait, who are you?" Keven asks.

You extend your hand out to shake his. "John. Maria and I got talking, real deep, and we came together, um, we came together to talking about potentially going into business together," you say, looking sideways at Maria to see if she is picking up on what you're hinting at.

"Um, yes," Maria adds nervously. There's a look of recognition and worry on her face. "I totally forgot to tell you, honey. I ran into John last night and we were going to have a follow up discussion later tonight, after you had left."

"Actually," you say, "I'm afraid something came up tonight and I can't make it."

"Oh," Maria says, looking relieved. "That's too bad. I, uh, was excited to talk about that business opportunity."

You grin. "But, if you have time now, we could find a place to chat? I think it would be a really great business opportunity."

"Um, I'm spending time with Kev right now and-"

Keven raises his hand to interrupt his wife. "Actually, we're just shopping. I have a flight to catch soon and I could use the time now to catch up on some emails. Hon, why don't you and John go talk and we'll meet back up in a bit to grab a bite before I have to fly."

"Are you sure?" Maria looks apprehensive and realizes she's dug herself a hole she can't get out of.

"Yeah, go ahead. Please, I know how you get with all your business opportunities and I fully support you. I'll see you later," Keven says, kissing his wife on the cheek. He then nods at you politely before he hurries off, likely glad to get out of shopping with his wife.

That leaves you and Maria standing on the sidewalk, staring at each other.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? And how did you find me? Are you stalking me? Also, how did you know who I was last night?" the questions blurt out from Maria's mouth almost all at the same time.

"Do you really want to talk about this here?" you respond.

Maria looks around. Already, people are noticing who she is and have their cellphones out. "I guess not," she says.
