Chapter 9 by The-Drunken-Bandit The-Drunken-Bandit

Where do you look?

Gravity Falls

“Field day?! Please, Gaz if Dib ever saw or even stepped foot in the gravity falls he would probably have an orgasm at the sheer amount of weirdness and cryptozoology that exists here!” You tell the purple haired gamer girl as you pull up images of the many, many, many different forms of weird and completely insane forms of life that exist within gravity falls. As Gaz stares at the many images, she shivers to herself as she realizes that you are right, if Dib ever found out this place…

Uggghhh… Oh, dear God. Now you’re thinking about it.

Regardless you can see a very clear shiver going throughout Gaz’s entire body as she begins to rub her arms and even opens her eyes slightly so that you could see the very haunted and faraway look within them.

Ugghhh… I. Urgh.” Gaz mutters to herself as you can see her eye twitch slightly as her mind begins a race at the very thought of Dib discovering this place. Seeing this, you immediately decide to move on and start by explaining the situation gravity falls found itself in.

“Seeing your discomfort, I’m just gonna move on Gaz. Anyway, like I mentioned before gravity falls an epicenter of all things weird and crazy. So much so I’m not surprised at this dimension has been excluded from the reset and is even jumped forward by about 36 years. Though I think I have a pretty damn good idea who’s responsible for both the reset and the sudden jump forward in time.” You explain to Gaz as you begin to pull up many different scenic images of the sleepy Oregon town. However, Gaz is barely listening as her mind is still recoiling in disgust at the thought of her brother finding this place. Quickly though Gaz quickly shakes her head to get rid of those thoughts for the most part.

“Ugh. Who?” Gaz groans out as try to suppress her thoughts of her brother. In response, you pull up an image of you standing in a laboratory next to two other men in lab coats and glasses.

The first was a rather tall man who stood around 6 ft 4 with an athletic build and had brown hair, blue eyes, and a strong square jaw with a cleft chin. He was dressed in brown loafers, black slacks, and a white button-up shirt with a black tie and wore thick black bull horn glasses.

The other man was much shorter than the first being that he stood only around 5 ft 11 and had a far lankier build and also had brown hair and brown eyes. However, unlike the first man, he did not possess a square chin, instead of having a far more round jaw and overall you would say this man looked a little bit more dopy and nerdy than his counterpart. This man also wore black slacks and brown loafer with a white button-up shirt and a black tie, also unlike his counterpart he wore round rimless glasses.

“Stanford pines and Fiddleford Mcguckett, that’s who!” You tell Gaz rather bitterly as you point at each man, the first being Stanford and the second man being Fiddleford. However, as you point at the two of them, Gaz uncrosses her arms and notices something rather odd about Stanford as she points at the bullhorn glasses wearing man, or to be more precise she points towards his hands.

“Hey is there some kind of photo error here? because it looks like he’s got an extra finger?” Gaz questions you as she points towards Ford’s hands with a raised brow and notes the fact that Ford has six fingers instead of the usual five seen on a human.

“Hmm. Oh no Gaz that’s actually what Ford’s hands look like, you see he was born with a strange birth defect that gave him an extra finger. However, just like I said before I have a strong suspicion to believe that Ford and Fiddleford are responsible for this world, ignoring the multi-verse will reset.” You tell Gaz as you begin to bring up images of the various projects that you, Ford, and Fiddleford worked on together. As Gaz stares at the various images of you working with the two men in question, she comes to a pretty logical conclusion as she turns back to face you.

“So the three of you were friends and built, Whatever the hell I’m looking at, together?” Gaz asks as she crosses her arms and looks at you with a flat look. At this question, you nod and pull up even more images of your time spent in this world. Many of these images display you working together with Fiddleford and Ford to unravel the many mysteries of gravity falls, often in these images you often display protecting Stanford and Fiddleford from a variety of different monsters.

“It’s called the dimensional gate and yes me Stanford and Fiddleford were friends once, but as time went by, things became… tense between the three of us.” You explained to Gaz delicately as you began to pull up some of the last images you had in this world. A Great deal of these images displayed you arguing with both Stanford and Fiddleford over whether or not the dimensional portal should be built.

As Gaz stared at these images, she quirks a brow and looks back towards you in questioning.

“Okay… You said once, what happened?” Gaz questioned, and in response, you sigh to yourself as you begin to explain both why you left this world and why you cut ties with both Stanford and Fiddleford.

“ Stanford happened, that’s what. I trusted Stanford with many of my secrets when we began to explore the many different dangers and oddities that existed throughout gravity falls. Hell, I even showed Stanford’s local multi-verse. Though that’s where things started to go south between us.” You begin as you begin to pull up several recordings of Stanford examining several objects within his lab, only for you to enter the room and see what exactly he was examining and immediately begin to argue with him while immediately taking whatever object she was examining at the time away from him.

“You see when I began showing Stanford the many intricacies and secrets that were hidden throughout the multi-verse. He began to ask questions and began to start digging into places that he really shouldn’t have begun digging into with all. More often than not, this would often lead Stanford and to acquiring dangerous pieces of technology or dangerous artifacts that he didn’t understand let alone know how to control. This is what made our friendships sour as I argued and even took away many of the dangerous objects that Stanford smuggled away to his dimension. Stanford would often yell and argue with me about needing to understand these objects for the betterment of everyone. I would often argue with him that some of these objects are not meant to be understood and that some knowledge is best left unknown, lest mankind discover something that he could not comprehend nor combat.” You elaborate further as you then quickly pulled up an image of what looked to be a pyramid with arms, legs, a top hat, and one singular eye that rested at its summit.

“However what fully and truly broke our friendship was when I discovered that Stanford was convening with an interdimensional demon known as Bill cipher! The very second I discovered that Stanford and Fiddleford were creating the dimensional portal to bring Bill cipher to their world I immediately tried to destroy it in order to prevent Bill cipher from crossing over from his dimension to their’s. Of course, Stanford and Fiddleford tried to stop me and nearly succeeded, but they were completely unable to prevent me from removing the advanced pieces of technology that I added on to the portal in order to speed up its creation.” You explained as you pulled up another recording this one of the security recording of you removing parts from the interdimensional portal project that you forward and Fiddleford was working on. However, as the security recording played on it showed Fiddleford and Stanford entering the room and what follows is an immediate argument. Followed by a short fight between you and Stanford will Fiddleford runs away back upstairs to the telephone.

“Following this, Stanford tried to attack me, and in response, I had to beat him down and knock him out in order to ensure that he didn’t take back the parts that I removed. While this was happening, Fiddleford immediately called the police in order to have me arrested in order to stop this madness. However, by the time the police arrived I was already long gone with the parts and I had the belief that two would be completely unable to complete the portal project without me, though it appears I might be wrong.” You elaborate for Gaz to she stays quiet for a while as she digests this information. However, this is short-lived as she does ask another pressing question.

“This demon… This Bill Cipher… What do you know about him?” Gaz questioned, and in response, you merely bring up an image of the carnage that Bill cipher unleashes on to the unfortunate people that summon him.

“I know many things about Bill cipher, I know that Bill is a trickster and a scam artist, I know that Bill enjoys torturing people just so they can hear them scream, I know Bill likes to play sick little games with people just to see what would it take to make them break, I know Bill can change his form at will and that he can warp space and reality into whatever he so chooses.” You tell Gaz as her eyes begin to widen at the sheer amount of carnage and inhumane cruelty that Bill unleashes on to others just so that he can laugh at their pain.

“Make no mistake Gaz though Bill may look harmless, he is far from anything but that. Bill is willing to do whatever he needs to do in order to ensure that he wins and he isn’t afraid to perform horrific atrocities to get what he wants. Problem is Bill is unkillable by most normal methods, and if we were to come into conflict with him the only thing that we could do to Bill would be to beat him into a bloodied pulp and to banish him from this dimension, but even then Bill would still be a continuous pain in our ass, because the tortilla chip shaped ass hole doesn’t let things go and hold severe grudges against people that cross him.” You explained that has with a frustrated tone in your voice evident.

At this explanation Gaz grits her teeth at the thought of having to deal with someone like Bill constantly, Gaz isn't used to an enemy that you can just simply be to a pulp and get rid of with fear. However, with this frustration, you can see a slight hesitation with Gaz as if she’s holding something back from you. Seeing this, you pressure Gaz for an explanation.

“Gaz is there something you’d like to tell me?” You question Gaz with narrowed eyes to which Gaz grits her teeth even harder before eventually sighing…

“_Sigh… _I might know of a possible way to seal Bill away.” Gaz tells you with grit teeth as she crosses her arms. Seeing this, you raise a brow in questioning and pressure Gaz to explain further.

“And that way is…” You trail off as you make a hand gesture for Gaz to continue to which Gaz sighs to herself pinches the bridge of her nose in frustration.

Sigh… We might be able to seal Bill away in one of Dib’s stupid books. You know which one I’m talking about, the spell drive.” Gaz explains in frustration and justifiably so as you recall that Gaz was cursed by the spell drive by Dib in order to get **** on her. With that in mind, you begin to recline your chair in thought and consider the option of using the spell drive to possible seal Bill away forever with it.

If you recall correctly the spell drive is a very powerful encyclopedia of spells that harnesses the power of technology to cast magical spells onto reality. The number of spells that one spell drive can reach up into the millions, however, unfortunately, spell drives are very limited in the amount of power they can use at any given time and once used they become practically worthless. However, as you think this you think it may be possible to connect the life reactor to a spell drive and use it to empower the spell drive in order to cast a possibly unlimited amount of spells.

“You might be onto something there Gaz, it’s something to look into for later, but for now we don’t have to worry about Bill so we can leave it for later as an emergency plan if we ever do encounter Bill. For now, we should probably take a look at how gravity falls has changed in the last 30 years and see whether or not we can-.” Your words dying throat as you pull up an image of gravity falls burning and in absolute chaos at the sky is red and ripped with ribbons of rainbow-colored energy. All the while, all manners of different kinds of beasts monsters and creatures roam the remnants of the sleepy town looking for the next hapless victim.

WHAT THE HELL!?” You yell as your eyes go wide as you look at the absolute insanity that has descended on the sleepy town. Gaz’s own personal reaction to the absolute insanity that has descended upon the town has caused her to go bug-eyed at the sheer weirdness that is run amok throughout the entire town.

However, as you look at the madness that has descended upon the entire town, you see a large peer amid that’s in the shape of a very familiar demon.

Bill cipher has come to gravity falls in with him he has brought weirdmageddon. Panicking you begin to zoom out of gravity falls and check the other local and international news feeds to see that this is not a localized event and that the weirdmageddon has descended upon the entire planet. However, you notice that there’s a strange barrier surrounding gravity falls it seems to be keeping a good deal of the monsters in, but not all of them as many still do escape through the barrier and into the world, and many more still rain down from the skies on to the unfortunate people below.

As you take in the insanity in carnage before you, you ask yourself only one single question…

What do you do?
