Another week of perseverance.

The next day, Vivian tells you what happened in a depressed mood. She spoke to her mother and told her what you, Shelly and herself are doing. She even offered her to be a part of it.

“That’s cheating! Dad, tell her that’s cheating!” A small boy with red hair says, looking up to you. You’re about to answer when Vivian picks up the boy and answers for you.

“Now now, there’s no need to fight.” She tells him, chuckling. “Just catch her when she doesn’t see you.” She whispers mischievously with a grin.

The last girl, one with auburn hair walks up to Ms. Norah and looks up at her with a curious look.

“Is dinner ready yet? I’m hungry.” She asks.

“Give us ten minutes dear. We’ll be ready soon. You need to be patient.” Ms. Norah answers, picking up the girl in her arms.

You look at the scene you created and realize it has more of an impact on yourself than you thought it would.

These three women are holding your children. They look at each other and laugh cheerfully. It warms your heart beyond belief.

Ms. Norah looks at you with a complex expression, holding your daughter in her arms. Then, her expression softens. She gives you a meaningful look and a bright smile before turning to her daughter again.
