Tell everyone

"Well. If you insist." I smiled and stood up. "Everyone. We have two announcements to make."

"Two?" Rose looked up at me. I just gave her a smile and offered her my hand which she took and stood up. "First I would like to thank you all for coming here, even if it was behind my back." I said getting a few laughs. "Rose really surprised me so I think it only fair that I do the same." I grinned and got down on one knee and held up a ring. Rose covered her face and blushed.

"Rose, will you do me..."

"Yes." She said not giving me a chance to say anything else as she dropped down and hugged me. She pulled back and kissed me. I wiped away a few tears from her face and we both stood up. "You care to tell everyone else." I said softly and she nodded.

"Also. Were having a baby." Rose beamed. I don't remember much after having one to many people by me drinks. The next morning I awoke with quit the headache. I took the folks to our place, mostly just to see their faces when they crossed through the invisible barrier. It was always fun to watch. Mom hung out with Rose and the other girls while me and dad went hunting in the Kingswood for old times sake. I was a little sad when they had to leave. I had talked to dad about moving out this way but the everwoods were home and the war was far enough away. We saw them off and then headed back home

"Well that was fun." Rose smiled.

"Tell me about it."

"I was wondering about how you feel if Tomen married us?" Rose asked.

"Sure I guess. You want a gnomish ceremony?" I guess I shouldn't be surprised given her best friend was a gnome.

"Yes. That way you can have more then one wife." She smiled.

"I am not sure if I want that."

"Both me and Aurora love you and then there is me and her relationship. Plus you are the earth mothers champion." She shrugged. We got a surprise outside of the house. An elven woman was outside the house walking the perimeter of the barrier as she touched the barrier. It took me a second to tell that it was Elsa.

"Elsa. Can we help you?" I said wondering how she had found this place.

"Oh hello. I am not sure. I just felt like I should come here for some reason." Elsa said.

"Like a calling?" Rose smiled.

"I guess you could call it that." Elsa nodded, blushing slightly.

"Would you care for something to drink?" Rose asked.

"Sure." Elsa nodded and Rose lead her into the cabin.

"So this isn't your first calling?" I asked once we were inside.

"No. I have been to the Eldergrove like most half elves from the village were I grew up in. But this time is different. Possibly because I am not a little girl anymore. I felt drawn here."

"Most of the girls like yourself became priestess correct?"

"Yes. For me it was different. Some but not all. I guess because I didn't have any inclinations towards women. I don't know why the calling lead me here."

"There is a tree here, a sapling. You are probably the just the first one that has been called here." Rose said as she came over with a goblet which she handed to Elsa.

"Which means there could be more?" I looked at Rose.

"Possibly." Rose nodded.

"Why here though?" Elsa asked.

"Him." Rose glanced at me.

"What?"

"She has needs that the high priestess can't fulfill so the earth mother sent her here. This isn't the first time she has done it neither." Rose shrugged. "The Earth Mother sent her here because she needs you."
