The two vagabonds

You finish your beer and decide to follow the two poor women (but not before swiping the till from the tavern). They head down the block and round a corner, finding a quiet alley to sit in.

"Well, what do we do now?" Hilda says with a sigh.

"D-don't get discouraged, milady," Sally says, trying to comfort her mistress. "There has to be something we can do to get back on our feet."

Hilda rubs her chin. "I don't know what though..."

"What about Lord Hunkington? Wouldn't he help us?" Sally asks.

The question apparently takes Hilda aback as her face instantly turns crimson. "Oh, no," she says as she starts fanning herself in embarrassment. "No, no, no, no. He... I... I couldn't! We... I... He... he doesn't even know I exist!"

Sally furrows her brow and sighs in disappointment. This must be a discussion they've had before. You make a mental note to remember that (ridiculous) name, especially after you see the reaction it gets out of Hilda.

"Well, then what about Lady Evellyn? Doesn't she live around here?" Sally asks.

Wait, wasn't that the name of the woman you just got done stripping? Are these two acquaintances? Your curiosity is suddenly peaked.

Hilda immediately freezes, you aren't sure if it's in fear, anger, or something else. "No. We are not going to her. Ever."

Huh, guess they must not be on good terms with each other. Maybe these two will be more fun to play with than you first thought...

Sally puffs up her cheeks and exhales in polite exasperation. "Well... why don't we go get something to eat, and then we'll figure out what to do? Okay?"

"Do we even have any money left?" Hilda asks, unable to keep the despair out of her voice. "I already sold my helmet, I don't want to lose anything else..."

You smirk to yourself at Hilda's choice of words, and contemplate what to do with these two.

"Um... I think we might have a copper or two left," Sally says as reaches for her wallet...
