"Who's Angel?" asked Kennedy. "Why, everyone knows who Angel is. He's the person who -- " At this point, she paused after receiving a warning look from Willow. " Er -- used to date Buffy Summers."

"Oh, so that's the big mystery," said Jenny. "For a moment there, I thought it was something serious."

"Well, he was Buffy's first real boyfriend after she moved here to Sunnydale," said Kennedy. "And I kinda guess he made quite an impact."

"I'm kinda sorry I never got the chance to meet him in my world," said Jenny.

Kennedy replied, "You shouldn't be -- Ow! Okay, Willow, I get the point."

"As fascinating as this conversation has been," said the Count Saint-Germain, "there still remains the question of why you, Mademoiselle Calendar, and your young friend are here."

"But of course," said Jenny. "Tara and I were hoping to get your autograph, Monsieur Count, and if it was not too much trouble, a little bit of the philosopher's stone. After all, neither Tara nor I is getting any younger, you know."

"Seriously?" asked Amy.

"Hey, it sounds like a legitimate request," said Willow. "And anyway, it's the Count's decision whether or not to fulfill it, not yours."

"Merci, Mademoiselle Rosenberg," said the Count. "One would think it unnecessary to state the obvious but sometimes..."

"Well, whatever you decide, Mr. Count," said Kennedy, "I'd appreciate it if you could just hurry up your decision in regard to our request. I don't mean to be rude but Willow promised me that we were going to go visit Selene and Sonja Blue next, and I'd really like to see them while I'm still young enough to appreciate the experience."

"Kennedy, sweetheart, those people don't exist yet in this time," said Willow. "And even if they did, it's not fair to rush a decision like the Count's when you're going to have all of eternity to do things if it comes out in your favor."

"Well-put, Mademoiselle Rosenberg," said the Count. "But please tell me -- just who are these people your girlfriend mentions?"

"Why, they're famous vampires, of course," said Kennedy. "I'm a big fangirl of both -- which I suppose I should find odd because of my current profession."

Willow just looked at Kennedy and said, "Shuuut uuuup."

"And what exactly is your current profession?" asked the Count.

Willow whispered to Kennedy, "Not in front of the v-a-m-p-i -- "

"Just because English is not my native language doesn't mean I can't spell, Mademoiselle Rosenberg," said the Count. "In fact, I was able to do so when the ancestors of half the people in this room were still painting themselves blue and worshiping trees. As for the other thing, I've already guessed what your girlfriend is going to say. But I would very much like to hear her say it anyway."

"Say what?" asked Kennedy.

"You know what, Mademoiselle Kennedy," said the Count. "What is your current profession?"

"Why, I'm a vampire slayer," said Kennedy. "What's the big deal about that?"
