Day 3 – Neil's Little Problem

Again I spied on his sex cult. The blonde, whose name I had found out through eavesdropping, was Aubrey was consoling the redhaired girl, Leah in Leah’s bedroom. The brunette, Hazel, was currently performing her "duties" on Neil. Every so often she would get up and take Neil in his mouth. Neil sessions had become shorter and shorter. He came up every so often to slap Hazel as if it were her fault.

I left them there and went to sleep.

I was making breakfast again. Neil came over and took what I made and presented it to the girls and sat with them. Again I ate alone. Neil came across at the end of it giving me his finished plates.

He didn’t look as cheerful as he had yesterday, but he still wore a smile on his face though not as high.

“Have you thought about what I said yesterday?” Neil asked me again invading my personal space while I ate my eggs.

“Uhh.. about locks? Nah, I’m good. No offense Neil but you and the others are still strangers to me. I’d rather not have you accessing vital areas,” I said.

Neil patted me on the back. I wanted to sock him but held myself still eating. “This is why you are so lonely Adam. You need to embrace the Way.”

“Oh, and how do I do that? Should I give you my credit card information?” I asked amused, placing a piece of fruit into my mouth.

“Adam look at yourself. You built this huge place and yet there is no one here except you and strangers. No one you can rely on. No one who loves you. The Way can teach you how to connect with all people. Look at you sitting here alone by yourself eating Adam.”

“I think I’ll pass,” I said and continued chewing.

“Fine, but I’m always here for you Adam,” Neil said, again patting my shoulders. “Anyways, since you will not open the doors I must ask you a favor.”

I looked at him and wiped my mouth with a napkin. “I’m all ears.”

“You said yesterday you had medicine, I need a specific medicine.”

“Is that so?” I said amusedly.

“Yes, just see if you can find anything with sildenafil citrate in it Adam.”

“Sildenafil citrate huh,” I smirked.

“Yes,” He nodded and smiled.

“Oh, you mean like Viagra?” I said.

He looked away, I could see the mask of his holiness and smugness sort of breaking. He turned back to me and smiled. “I have pulmonary hypertension, Adam. It’s something that shames me but yes. I need anything with sildenafil citrate in it. Viagra would be great.”

“I’ll see what I can find,” I said and added, “But how about a trade.”

Neil looked at me angrily for a bit and then resumed his mask of empty glee. “A trade? I have nothing to trade?”

“I want to talk to a red-haired girl, Leah. Can you arrange it?” I said.

“Adam, the people of the Way, are free to talk to whoever they want,” Neil said though he was searching my eyes.

“Yeah but it seems like you are controlling them and telling them not to talk to me, so I’d like you to tell Leah that it’s okay to talk to me. If she wants to of course.” I said.

Neil made a tick in his face and then smiled. “Sure. But I’ll warn you Sister Leah may not take to it. She is a very devoted follower of the Way.”

“Fine, let’s do it now,” I said.

Neil looked a bit worried, and then Neil and I went up over to the group. They all stared at Neil and then glanced at me and stared back.

“Sister Leah,” Neil said.

“Yes Father?” the soft-voiced Leah answered.

“Adam here wishes to speak with you.”

She looked at me, and I did a small wave and smiled.

“I-is it really okay?” Leah asked.

“Of course it is. Though only for a short while. I will clear access to the Way for a short while for you to speak with him.” Neil said imperiously.

The blonde girl Aubrey stared daggers at Leah when Leah smiled and then at me suspiciously.

I later went and fetched Neil’s “medicine.” I handed it to Neil. He opened it and stared at it.

“This isn’t Viagra,” Neil said.

“It’s Sildenafil, the generic version.”

Of course, it wasn’t. It was just placebos I packaged inside a Sildenafil’s package. Neil read the instructions carefully and then nodded. “Thank you, Adam.”

He left off. I smiled and went to my conversation with Leah.
