Day 3.5 - My Talk With Leah

The others had left. Leah sat there by self in the dining hall, and after placing my dishes into the dishwasher, I came over and smiled.

Leah shyly looked towards the table, and I sat in front of her giving her some distance.

“Hello, Leah,” I said.

“H-hello Mr. Smith,” Leah said in a soft voice.

“Mr. Smith huh. Geez, am I that old? You can call me Adam if you want.” I said.

“Alright, Adam,” Leah said, again not making eye contact with me. It was clear by her breathing and redness that the arousal factor of the serum was working its magic on her. That or she was shy and turned on by a guy like me. I hope it was the latter.

“So why did you join a cult,” I blurted and went straight to the point.

She was a bit startled and now looked me straight in the eyes, “We’re not a cult Adam.”

Probably best not to call it a cult right out. Not a good move on my part. The thing about cultists is how vehemently they deny that they are cultists.

“Okay, why did you join Neil’s group?”

“You mean Father Neil? Father Neil is wise and knows the way to true happiness,” Leah said earnestly.

‘You don’t look overjoyed Leah. In fact, you look really lonely,’ I said and smiled.

Leah smiled at this. “I suppose I haven’t had a perfect life, Adam. I can tell you about it, but it all just sounds so cliché and whiney to other people. When I talk to Father Neil about it, he understands and listens.”

“Ok, I’m all ears. I won’t judge.” I said.

“I’m the daughter of a wealthy man. But he died when I was young. My family fights over the fortune that was left to me.” She said shyly.

“Let me guess, Neil or errr Father Neil wants to relieve you of that burden?” I asked.

She nodded. I suppose that means access to her bank account and all her money.

“He also wants me to embrace the Way,” Leah said.

“What is this Way?” I said.

“At night, Father Neil wants me to embrace him. Since he is the closest to the Way, he will guide me there in his embrace. He says when a man and a woman are together like this, they can open the way to God.”

I nodded. “And you don’t want to do that?”

“I’m scared, I just need a bit more time.” She said.

“I’m actually a master of the Way,” I lied.

“You are?” Leah said.

“Yes, in fact, the Way led us to meet each other here in this place. It’s how I got Neil.. err Father Neil to come here.”

Leah lit up and said, “Of course. The Way leads to salvation. You are our salvation.”

I nodded. “If you want, I can help you embrace the Way,”

“I-I don’t know, I’ve tried with Father Neil b-but… failed at it.” Leah said.

“Leah we don’t have to embrace as lovers do. We can just hug and kiss,” I lied.

Leah’s face brightened at that, “I think I can do that.”

Leah got up and held out her hands, and I took her in an embrace. We met each other’s eyes, and she blushed and pecked me on the lips. Our lips brushed each other for only a parting moment. I could feel the heat from her body radiate towards me. She buried her face in my shoulders, and I held her there for a while. I felt sorry for her. She really looked lonely and was about to trade one sex cult leader for another.
