Carter Trail Trap Part One

During his Friday afternoon, Spencer headed for the shower. As he took his shirt off, his phone began to ring.

"Hello?"

"Oh hey Spence, it's me." Jessica said.

"Hey. How's it going?"

"Good. So I've got bit of a plan for tomorrow?"

"Well I'm thinking we could walk on the Carter Trail. Something a bit slow pace, you know?"

"Sure. Sounds great to me."

"Wanna go after lunch?"

"That works for me."

"So, shall we meet at my place, 1 PM?"

"Can't wait."

"See you then Spence."

"Bye."

After hanging up her phone, Jessica smiled, before twirling the handcuffs she had on her index finger, picturing all the things she wanted to do with Spencer.

"Alright, I'll see you soon sweetie." Spencer said.

"Sure Dad."

"Love you sweetie."

"Love you too." Although Amy's dejected tone didn't exactly speak of love.

Spencer rushed out of the door, eager to escape the awkward situation. After a sigh, he got into his SUV and drove over to Jessica's place, hoping things would go much smoother. The fact that Amy was still not quite on board with his new relationship hurt, but he didn't let that get the best of his optimism, certain it would pass over soon enough.

Jessica greeted Spencer at her door, wearing figure-hugging jeans, a blue t-shirt, and a black leather jacket, which was as skimpy as she was willing to go in late autumn weather. She also had a messenger bag over her shoulder, with a few toys for when it comes time to play.

"Hey Spence."

"Hey."

The two shared a kiss, before Jessica said "Wanna come in, or shall we get going?"

"Up to you."

"I say we get going."

"Sounds good to me."

Jessica followed Spencer to his SUV, trying to tame her smile as she thought of what she had planned for her new partner.
