Chapter 11 by Ragnockae136 Ragnockae136

Something Like????????

Tyene Sand

Aegon Was Searching The Gardens For Tyene, His Half-Cousin, and His Secret Paramour. Tye and Nym Had Long Been His Lovers, But Aegon Always Found A Special Love For Tyene. They'd Always Kept Their Relationship Secret, and Aegon Had Secretly Had Her Sent To Kingslanding. Only Oberyn Knew For Certain That Tye Was His Nephew's Paramour, and Varys Was The Only One The King Trusted With the Knowledge that Tye and Him Were Together outside of Oberyn.

Tye Was Both A Blessing For Him and A Burden in Some Ways. But She Was No Less Dornish Than He Was. Regardless He Found Her Humming Away and When She Turned, Rushed into Her Arms. They Began to Kiss Passionately. "I've Been Waiting For You To Come." Says Tye Breathlessly as She Tries Undoing The King's Breeches. "I Don't Have A Lot of Time, I Have To Meet With Lord Stark and Lady Sansa In The Next Few Days." Says Aegon. "Then We Can Take Our Time." Says Tye Hungrily. "Unfortunately We Can't, I Leave in Less Than an Hour." Says Aegon As Tye Stops Abruptly. "Oh." She Says and Starts to Pout As She Undoes the Work She'd Done on His Breeches. "I'm Sorry Tye, I Only Came To Tell You Goodbye. That, and I am Assigning You to Lead The Guard Assigned to My New Queen From The North." Says Aegon as Tye Stops Pouting and Looks Thoughtful. "Thought You'd Like That." Says Aegon as He Does the Rest and Leaves The Garden.

Aegon Was Scheduled To Meet Lord Stark To Discuss The Matter of The Royal Wedding and The Standing offer of His Son Bran Becoming A Page At The Red Keep, As Steffon Baratheon and Tywin Lannister Had Been As Children. In Time Bran Would Be Offered The Chance To Become The Squire To One Of The Kingsguard. Also Aegon Began To Think On The matter of Rebuilding The Realm More than Mere Marriages. Moat Callin, Summerhall, and Harrenhall, All Were Great Castles, Ruined In One Way or Another. Summerhall and Harrenhall Were Both Burned, But Mostly Still Standing. Moat Callin Was A Critical Lynch Pin In The North's Defense, So It Was High Time Someone Repaired it and Had it Fully Manned. Aegon Decided That He'd Take A Gamble, and Buy **** Soldiers, Then Free Them, and Offer Them A Choice To Fight As Freed Soldiers, Or, Take Their Chances Elsewhere. Slavery Was Illegal, So it Was Necessary to Ratify this Decision With The Small Council.

Oberyn Had Long Maintained That The Unsullied Were the Finest Infantry From Across The Narrow Sea, and They Never Questioned Orders. So With Their Current State of Military It made Sense to Take A Quick and Mostly Painless Way To Rebuild The Royal Army. Aegon Decided To Speak With Varys before He Left.

"Unsullied Your Grace? You Are Aware They Are **** Warriors, and Slavery is Illegal in Westeros?" Says Varys. "I'm Well Aware of This Varys, Which Is Why I Will Offer Them The Choice To Serve As Freed Soldiers and Men, or Take Their Chances Elsewhere. Besides, We Need The Unsullied. Our Numbers Have Diminished and The Unsullied Are The Ultimate Infantry **** in The Known World. The Royal Armies In Shambles, Our Numbers Have Fallen with the Recent and Latest War. But There's A Second Reason I'm Considering This." Says Aegon as He Hands The Master of Whispers a Scroll. "That's A Letter Passed On From House Stark, In The Lord Commander of The Night's Watch Own Hand. He Claims This Mance Rayder Has Near Maybe A Hundred Thousand Wildlings." Says Aegon. "This is Hardly The First Time A Wildling King Has Raised An Army of Such magnitude." Says Varys. "Yes, But I'm More Concerned of The Larger Implications of This Combined With Lord Starks Message." Says Aegon. "What Message Your Grace?" Asks Varys. "He Said More Wildlings Are Fleeing South Than Ever Before, not too alarming obviously, but.........Why Go to The Trouble of Raising A Massive Army when you could easily slip past in the first place?" Says Aegon.

"You Think There's Something Else At Play here?" Asks Varys. "Wildlings Fear Nigh Nothing, The Fact They have raised an army and more than ever before are fleeing south anyway, That's What's Got More Worried Varys." Says Aegon. "What Should I Do?" Asks Varys. "Send A Man To Astapor, Offer To Buy As many Unsullied as They Can. I Want A Minimum of Ten To Fifteen Thousand Unsullied First. They Will Travel By Ship To Westeros. Tell The Masters This, We Want Consecutive Purchases Made in Advance, Over A Twenty Year Period. We Expect a Basic Delivery of One Hundred Seventy Thousand Unsullied Within Five Years, else we Were Not Pay Them For their Product." Says Aegon. "Yes Your Grace." Says Varys. "I Have to Go Now, I Meet House Stark at Moat Callin. But After, I Might Plan a Valyrian Expedition." Says Aegon.

Aegon Rode Out of Moat Callin, His Goals Met, and His Bride With Him, They Would Now briefly Head to Kingslanding, before Aegon Would Voyage To Old Valyria............................

Old Valyria
