Reawakening

Dick woke up and saw his pod door open. Once it did he fell out on his knees. An alarm was going off and an automated voice on the intercom said something about an error in some sort of chamber and that everyone needs to evacuate. It took Dick a few minutes to remember where he was and what had happened, once he did he wanted to scream.

People had kidnapped Shaun and **** Nora! And all he could do was sit in a pod and watch. Dick wanted to cry as once again his lack of masculinity caused him great pain and worse, caused his wife to suffer for it too. But he couldn't dwell on that, he needs to get Nora out of her pod. Dick shakily stands up and makes his way to his wife's pod. Once he found out how to open her pod, Nora fell out of it and began coughing hard. Her suit was still in the state that the man had left it in. Completely unzipped and with her underwear removed to expose her breasts and vagina.

"Nora..." Dick said weakly.

"S-Shaun..." she said between coughs.

"They took him..." Dick said miserably. "They took Shaun. I'm sorry, Nora. I couldn't get out of the pod to stop them..."

"...It's... alright..." Nora said slowly. "There wasn't anything you could do..." While Nora didn't seem angry with him, her words still hurt him, as if she was still blaming him for what happened to Shaun since he wasn't strong enough to bust out of his pod and save his family.

"We need to get out of here," Nora says, standing up and zipping up her vault suit. It seemed she chose not to bring up what happened to her, and Dick wouldn't complain. "And we need to find Shaun!" Dick nodded and despite the dire situation they were in, he felt empowered by his wife's strength. They could survive this, as long as they were together.
