Back to the Club

The next week flew by for Mike. Long work days then workouts with Cassandra. Somehow, nothing seemed to have changed between them. Of course, there was a good amount of sexual talk between them but that seemed to be it, and Mike was happy with it that way. Before he knew it, their Friday night workouts were done and he and Cassandra were was leaving the gym. She had invited herself to his place so that she could pick out the outfit he would put on before he went to try and find Ashley at the club. She flipped through all of his clothes and ultimately settled on the outfit that they had picked out at the mall. Mike slid the shirt on and felt like his biceps and chest were going to burst out of it at any second.

He walked out to show Cassandra and get her opinion, but when she saw him she instantly bit her bottom lip and stared at him with lust filled eyes. Mike laughed and said, "Down girl. You're allowed to look but no touching."

She started pouting and said "It's not fair. I picked out that outfit and can't even touch it once!" Mike just ignored her and kept getting ready.

When he was ready to leave he tried to get Cassandra to go home but she refused and declared she was going to stay at his place so he could tell her how it went when he got back. Mike knew better than to argue when he knew he wasn't going to win so he mumbled an 'okay' and left.

When he pulled up to 'Perfect 10' he paid the cover charge and went into the club. He couldn't see Ashley working right away and hoped that she wasn't off that night. Looking around the rest of the room he saw that Candy was working the bar again so he went to go talk to her for a bit. He sat at the bar like the last time and Candy came over to talk to him. "Hey handsome, haven't I seen you before?"

Mike stared at her blankly for a moment then replied, "Yes, I was here just last weekend and I even talked to you."

She stared at him for a bit then the realization hit, "Oh! You're Ashley's! I didn't recognize you. Why the heck did you hide all of these delicious muscles last time you were here?" and she reached out to squeeze his biceps.

Mike just laughed and said "It was just time for a wardrobe change. What do you mean I'm Ashley's?"

"Ashley was the only one that you got any dances from, so everyone gave first dibs to her. That's why no one has offered you a dance yet, because she's got first shot." Candy replied.

It made sense to Mike, so with a smile, he asked "Is Ashley working today?"

She responded with a laugh and said, "Yes, she is. If you want to take a seat at the booth I can send her your way."

Mike thanked her and found a seat to wait for Ashley when he heard a commotion from the other side of the club.

He stood back up and headed in the direction of the noise, having nothing better to do besides wait. His eyes scanned the dimly lit room and quickly spotted the commotion. A man who was obviously way too drunk had grabbed a strippers ass and, in return, she had slapped him; which pissed the drunk off. Watching this, Mike realized that the stripper was, in fact, Ashley and instantly starts to move toward the action. After getting slapped, the drunk customer stood up and started to swing at Ashley but Mike got there first and the blow bounced off of his chest. The drunk eyed Mike and threw another punch which Mike was able to dodge easily, but before he was able to throw his own punch, Ashley stepped out from behind him and kicked the drunk in the balls so hard he collapsed onto the floor. Ashley then turned to look at Mike and said plainly "I had everything under control and didn't need any help." They both paused and stared. Then Ashley said, "Thank you."

Two bouncers came running up at that moment. One grabbed the drunk off the floor while the other mistakenly grabbed Mike roughly around the neck before Ashley started yelling at him "Let him go you idiot! If you had gotten here on time he wouldn't have had to get involved in the first place." The bouncer just stares at the both of them, deciding whether or not to say something back, then just lets go of Mike and walks away. Mike, in turn, looks at to Ashley to say 'thanks' but she waved it off saying "Now we are even."

Mike asked Ashley what her schedule was for the night, but unfortunately for him she was done for the day. He was upset that he didn't get to talk to her more but he also knew that Cassandra would yell at him if he gave up right away. So he took a deep breath and asked Ashley if she wanted to go to the burger joint right around the corner. She stared at him for what felt like hours; then, to his surprise, she accepted the offer. She instructed him to go get a table and when she finished getting cleaned up she would meet him there.

As he left the club Mike glanced at the bar and noticed that Candy was grinning at him from ear to ear and giving him a thumbs up. Mike laughs at that and starts to head next door.
