Helping her out - for a price.

"Alright, Jessica, here's my offer," he said, grinning.

"I will cover for you. You can take a walk to the restrooms on the other floor, while I will go to that meeting you were supposed to attend. I will tell them that you have sent me, that everything is fine, and that you decided to delegate this task to me because you trust me. And you do, right? So nobody will notice, and the little secret of your heritage stays a secret - between us."

He flashed her a smile.

"Afterwards, you will go home," he continued, "and you will go to work tomorrow as usual, and everything will be just as it was before. And nobody will ever learn that Jessica, rising star of the company, had a little unfortunate problem with her bladder."

The word alone made her shiver visibly. John grinned again.

"Do you agree?" he asked.

Jessica hesitated and then nodded. She knew, of course, that if John replaced her today at the kick-off meeting, she more or less transferred the whole project to him. It was not a transfer of work - it was a transfer of power, at least for that project. But she also knew that she didn't have a choice.

He smiled, "Right then. See you tomorrow, Jessica. Oh, and one more thing! I will pass by your house and drop a package with a note. Make sure you follow the instructions, alright? You don't want anybody else in this company to find out about your... desires and dreams."

She hesitated again, and there was no doubt that he had endless blackmailing power over her. But then she nodded. He had counted on that. Counted on her calculation that one man knowing about her secret was a problem, but not the end of her career.

Once her secret was out, there was no way Jessica could ever hope to rise to anything else in this company other than the office slut.

He watched her walking to the elevators, trying to summon all her willpower to stay in control, and chuckled. Then he turned around. He had to hurry. He had a meeting to attend.
