Late-night practice

Negi strolled down toward the girls' dorms, hoping to find a familiar face.

Negi, thinking: It sure is quiet for being so recently after school.

His thought was interrupted, contradicted, by a loud scream. He rushed to the source finding three girls standing in a row as a fourth ran back and forth in front of them.

Negi: Oh. It's the cheerleaders, and ms. Akashi. I wonder what they're doing.

Sneaking to another tree, his new viewpoint revealed Yuna running laps around the basketball courts, dribbling the ball at varying speeds and the cheerleaders, Sakurako Madoka and Misa, shouting words of encouragement.

the Cheerleaders: Come...on! Come..on! You-can-do-it...Yuuuu-na!

Smirking at their words, Yuna dribbled even faster and tried to run defense on an invisible opponent. Negi recognized it as a form of shadow-boxing, a method Ku Fei used to train herself.

Negi, thinking: So, Yuna figured that out, huh? She's smarter than i give her credit for.

Her D was pretty good. She made multiple turns in different directions, moves that would've shaken off the best guard. She practiced snatching the ball away from stealing hands, her moves quick without compromising ball-security. After a few minutes, Yuna let out a huge 'whew!' and sat down with a towel over her shoulders. The cheerleaders took five too.
