To the Old Textile Factory

Evelyn drove towards her destination in Spencer's Mercedes. She couldn't deny that it was nice and smooth to drive, although she knew it was way out of her budget. Still, she decided to enjoy her drive to the fullest, wondering when Spencer would catch on to what she was doing.

Eventually, he said "Hey, that's the wrong turn."

"I wanna make a detour."

"Oh... where we going?"

"The old textile factory."

"Uhh, why would we go there?"

"Cause it's nice and quiet."

After a second of processing her statement in his brain, Spencer nodded with understanding. "Yeah, but if you know about, surely the rest of your department does?"

"We do, but we leave it alone. Nothing wrong with sneaking off for a little lovin'. Plus, my kids are getting to that age and I sure as hell don't wanna see that."

"Right."

"You know Amy's getting to that age too?"

Even though Evelyn couldn't see Spencer's shocked expression, the thought of it alone, combined with his gasp was more than enough to get her roaring with laughter. She, however, couldn't see Spencer's concern. As much as he liked Evelyn, the idea of being intimate in such a public area wasn't one he would've entertained before, and whilst part of him was excited, part of him was also nervous.

As they neared Evelyn's destination, they saw a car that was familiar to them. That's when they saw the passenger get out. It was Darcie Collins, who was pulling up her jeans. Spencer's cheeks turned bright red upon seeing the mother, whilst Evelyn just laughed. Darcie looked to the car and gave the two a wave. Evelyn waved back whilst Spencer remained frozen.

Evelyn then looked to Spencer. "You okay?"

"Uhh... I just don't think I'm up to it... sorry."

"Hey, it's okay." Evelyn patted his shoulder, despite her frustration.

"Thanks..."

"Plus, you still have to drop me off Tiger."

"Of course."

"Now, what way was it to your place?"
