Quite a first impression

You had been in the village before to get the cloths. The villagers had not paid much attention to you and the only one you had interacted with was the tailor. Now, however, you strode into town with three centaur women behind you who all had the look of fascinated children on their faces. They had all strived to learn to speak the human language properly on the journey over. Meer was fluent but a bit rusty Mirre had been with you the longest and was almost perfect and Lubra was a quick learner but sometimes neede a bit of help from her mother. They kept pointing and asking about things. There were many things they knew, having similar things in their village, but didn't know the human word for. There was a lot of "What do you call that thing?" or similar questions asked.

You and your group attracted a lot of attention from the villagers as well. Most had never seen centaurs before. Then in you walk with three of them and a bag full of gold. Rumour began circling the village of who this stranger was. You wore one of your dresses but you had your sword shard.

You started by buying supplies; food water, herbs, spices, oil for lanterns and a few other useful items. You then went to the tailor. It took a bit of convincing for him to allow the centaurs into the shop but once you convinced him that they would not shit on the floor like a horse and that they needed expensive custom outfits then he let you in. His wife and daughter helped him measure up the centaurs and his wife examined your underwear situation. She was quite shocked but you paid her to keep the information to herself and design some more comfortable underwear and some dresses for you. It turns out that one gold coin was a lot of money and you commissioned a whole wardrobe of clothes for the 4 of you for just 5 gold. Even then you were given a handful of copper coins in change. It would be a week until your clothing would be ready but your generous spending had put all other commissions on hold.

Author's note: I see gold coins in this setting as the equivalent of a £50 note or equivalent rare currency you only see tourists use as if they have been given money from an exchange without knowing the currency. Alisa has a bag full of gold and gems.

Next, you visited the blacksmith. He was less hesitant to have centaurs around his shop. He had horses in his shop for shoes all the time and had been visited once by a young centaur man asking for weapons and armour. The centaurs were very curious to hear this and asked the blacksmith many questions. He told them that the young centaur had visited two years ago and had a spear and armour made. He had chestnut hair on his equine body and long back hair on his head. He gave his name that was something in the centaur language so the blacksmith had trouble remembering it. Meer concluded that it was most likely Yart, Mirre and Lubra's cousin and the blacksmith confirmed this and said he stayed in town for a bit then went off east towards the border of the neighbouring kingdom. This meant he most likely survived Ravas's cull.

You asked for a sword to be made for you along with armour for you and the centaurs and for long spears for the centaurs. They asked why they would need such a thing and you revelled your plan to kill the dragon.

"No one has ever come back from that castle missy." Clive, The Blacksmith told you.

"They were all trying to rescue the princess and had never seen the dragon fight before. Their focus was split and they were unprepared. Also, they were alone not wanting to share worthiness with other people. I have watched the dragon fight, seen its flaws, won't be alone and have no desire for the princess." you reply.

"But what will the princess do when you kill her dragon but leave her undefended," Clive asks.

"I shall claim myself free to choose who I want as a husband not have one chosen for me and live happly ever after with these three." You jester to the centaurs as you also reveal your true identity.

"I cannot say I am surprised at your identity. The village folk had odds at 3-1 that you were the princess on account of the fancy clothes, blond hair, brown eyes and lots of gold." Clive replied.

"Please keep my secret, at least until the weapons and armour are ready." You beg.

"You really want us to fight a dragon?" Mirre asked.

"Yes, only then can we truly be together. In a few days, the dragon will count his hoard as he always does then know I stole from him and come after us." You explain "Where ever we go it will hunt us. when It finds us it will kill you. I love you so I can't let that happen."

"I love you too. You saved me from a life under the control of my father. I will fight this dragon with you." Mirre replies.

"I love you as well, you may only have eyes for my sister but we shared something deep and secret. I will fight the dragon with you" Lubra replied.

"Lubra, I love you too don't think that I am only in love with Mirre you are special to me too." You tell her.

"I am fond of you and you have, in the short time I have known you, proven yourself to care more for me and my daughters more than Ravas. I do not love you in the same way my daughters do but I will help you fight a dragon to keep them safe." Meer informs you.

"That's all lovely, lasses, but I am going to need to get your measurements for the armour now. Luckily I kept the designs for that centaur armour althoug I will have to adapt it for females on top. It will take two weeks to make." Clive informs you.

You let Clive get your measurements and pay him 10 gold for all the complicated armour and weapons.
