A Happy Start

After dropping Amy off back home, Spencer came to Evelyn's door with two coffees in hand. After hearing him knock, Evelyn answered, wearing yoga pants and a sports bra that allowed Spencer to fully appreciate her fit body.

"Hey there."

"I brought some coffees over."

"My hero. Come on in."

Spencer followed Evelyn to her couch, where she said "So, get up to much?"

"Just some freelance assignments. You?"

"They catch that guy?"

"Yeah."

"Hey, don't you worry about him. He's long gone, if he was even here."

Evelyn put her hand on his. "Spence, trust me when I say worrying's going to get you nowhere. I've got all the reasons to come home, and I'm not going to let anyone stop that from happening."

She spoke with a bold confidence that did ease Spencer's mind, at least for the time being. "Of course."

"So how about that massage?" She winked as she put her coffee down.

"I'd love too."

She turned around as Spencer took a final swing of his coffee before he stammered "You know it'd be better if you removed your top. If you don't mind?"

"Well, you're the expert." Evelyn removed her top and threw it on the floor. Spencer then poured oil onto his palms and rubbed them together before touching her back. As he began to massage her, Evelyn decided to brave touching his thigh. This time he didn't protest, causing her to smile.
