“I sure we can work something out.” You decide to agree to her request but still play it safe. “Let me call Andrea Decar, the Exhibitions Manager of the Athenaeum, she tends to work late.”

“I'm pretty sure you left it on the table. We can run by your apartment if it would make you feel better.” She offers.

“The Athenaeum is closer and it's about to close.” You look up at your date. “It's just not like me to leave my phone behind. I need to have with me twenty-four seven.”

“You seemed a little distracted when we first met.” Kyle gives you a coy smile. “The more I think about it, I'm confident that I saw you put it down before we left."
