Chapter 21 by ThomasMoro ThomasMoro

While all this is going on with Buffy-in-Faith, what is Faith-in-Buffy doing?

Slaying vampires

"Come on, ya wimp," said Faith-in-Buffy. "Give it your best shot."

"But you're naked," said the vampire.

"And that's the part that embarrasses you?" asked Faith-in-Buffy. "Not the whole 'killing innocent people and drinking their blood' thing?"

"Now that you put it that way,"said the vampire.

He charged at Faith-in-Buffy in a way that would be really impressive if she had been a typical girl. But she wasn't. She staked the vampire so easily she actually found herself having to suppress a yawn by the time he turned to dust.

Anyway, taunting vampires had always been more B's thing, she thought.

My God, she thought. Does this mean I'm the good slayer now? Does that mean B's the bad slayer now? After all, Faith-in-Buffy hasn't noticed her doing much of her usual patrol routine since the big bodyswap. Perhaps B was the bad slayer now. Or could it be that Faith-in-Buffy was now both the good slayer and the bad slayer?

No, those were the type of questions B would ask. Just because she was in B's body did not mean she was B. She was sure of it.

Perhaps she should do something else with her next modeling fee. Not plastic surgery because she really could not afford that. (Plus she had visions of going under just before the surgery and waking up to find people from the Watcher Council at the foot of her hospital bed. Creepy.)

But maybe... a hair salon? No, that was something B would do.

No, wait. Faith-in-Buffy could use a haircut. And a dye job. But of course. Maybe if she altered her hair to look more like the look she had in her old body, she would feel better. If nothing else, altering B's body to look more like her old self would confuse the Watcher Council if Giles and the others ever got the courage to break the truce and call them in.

But going to a hair salon was such a B thing, she thought as she casually staked another vampire.

But still...

Anyway, she was starting to get bored fighting vampires. The old ones ran away too easily and the new ones were no challenge at all. Perhaps she should swing by the college and see what was going on with the art teacher's night class.

Nah, she thought. She highly doubted that there would be anything especially interesting going on there tonight. She was better off hitting the Bronze.

Meanwhile, what is happening to Buffy-in-Faith?
