Wolf Leads the Pack

Wolf charges forward to the dilapidated house in front of you. The three of you follow, with Fox covering the right side of the building, whilst Ice moves to the left. Despite your fear, you decide to back Wolf up, following him inside the house. As soon as you step into the room, Wolf's shotgun barks. The room rings with the sound of his gunfire, and so do your ears. Wolf moves on to check the two empty rooms of the house, before looking at you.

"Firepower, the difference between life and death" Wolf remarks.

Gunfire interjects so you retreat into an empty room. Ice notices a soldier in the doorframe of the house across the dirt road. He aims at the shooter and fires a burst of bullets, forcing the gunman to retreat.

"We've got bad dudes in the house in front." Ice radios.

"I hear you." Wolf says. "Rookie, watch that doorway."

You nod before crouching down and training your MP5K on the door, trying your best to steady your trembling hands. Wolf then grabs his radio. "Ice, I'm moving to you. Fox, keep the right side covered."

Wolf breaks into a sprint. Despite his large frame, the beast of a man proves to be agile and arrives by Ice's side in no time. "I've got point."

Ice nods and follows Wolf towards a door on the right side of the building. After a deep breath, Wolf throws the door open and storms the room. He sees the gunman leaning against the wall, with a defeated look on his face. He doesn't even bother raising his weapon against Wolf, who still shoots him down. That's when a bullet strikes Wolf's kevlar vest, causing him to stumble.

Ice springs into action, entering the house. As Wolf retreats, his attacker enters through the open doorway he had fired. Seeing the new attacker, Ice opens fire with a short burst, that sends the gunman crashing to the ground to assume room temperature.

Noticing Wolf stumble outside, you radio "You okay?"

"Got... got a bleeder." Wolf states in a surprisingly calm matter for someone who is bleeding. "Get over here."

You watch Fox run over to her wounded comrade, and after a deep breath, follow her into the danger zone. Fox's nimble hands grab her first aid kit and then tend to Peter. "Oh Wolfy."

You enter the house, seeing Ice standing over a dead body. "Alright man, let's keep going. We haven't accounted for all the bad dudes."

You give Ice a nod and follow him to the back door. He throws the door open and moves outside. You follow him between two houses, where another young soldier runs towards you, submachine gun in hand. Without breaking a sweat, Ice interrupts the man's sprint with a burst of automatic fire that proves fatal. With your knowledge of the game, you figure that the first section of Omerta is clear, but you decide to follow Ice around as he checks the rest of the town.

Next, the two of you check back with Wolf, who asks "We done here?"

"Yeah put another tick in the win column. No more bad guys here."

"Alright. Now we need to locate the rebels."

That's when you notice movement in the corner of your eye.
