You speed toward The Company, fingering Carrie’s rosary beads. You hope those a cross and the Glock you have holstered will be enough.

You pull in, stride up the stairs and enter the lobby.

You flash your work badge and growl at the security guards. Surprisingly, they let you by without much question.

You head to the stairs determined to find Carrie. You make it up three flights before you here the clacking of high heels.

You look up and see a woman dressed in a black latex catsuit. Her hair is a beautiful gold, her breasts are large, and her legs are toned.

You are about to ask for her help when she smiles. It is a terrifying grin, full of razor sharp teeth. Her eyes narrow to reptilian slits and seem to glow a reddish orange.

“I thought I smelled a human. And, one in love at that. I’m going to enjoy killing you.”

You attempt to pull out your Glock, but she is on you faster. Her fist connects with your jaw and you see stars. She spins, her foot connecting with your abdomen. You go down.

As you struggle for breath, she laughs. “Foolish man, not that long ago, I was I trained demon hunter. I can crush you.”

You realize she is toying with you. If you are going to save Carrie, or even survive this, you need to change the game. You manage to stand.

She steps toward you, readying another attack.

You grab the rosary beads in your pocket and run at her.

If she is surprised she doesn’t show it. You thrust your hand toward her fanged maw. She swings a fist at your head. As the blow connects and you begin to lose consciousness, you open your hand.
