Shared Lover

Maggie considers the options on the table. As much as she'd love to get ****, she can't help but feel sorry for Tanya. If Tanya returned the crushes that Kyle and Maggie had on her they could possibly keep her close and safe. She looks away from the helpless Tanya and at Kyle. "Of everything we've discussed what option do you feel best about?"

Kyle's smile brightened. Until now he'd been letting Maggie, with her dominant personality, lead. "Honestly, all I want is for Tanya to feel the same way about me, uh, about us, as we do about her."

"So shared girlfriend?"

He nods.

"Okay. Let's do that." She turns back toward Tanya who's a mixture of relieved and horrified. On one hand, it could be much worse, on the other hand, she can't date two losers! Especially another girl!

"Right," Maggie says, "let's hope this works. Tanya, this interrogation never happened including any conversation you heard during it." Tanya's panic subsides as she forgets about the very recent revelation that she has to do everything people say. "You arrived at Kyle's, we started building your Shadowrun character, but now you have a stomach ache and need to go home." Tanya looks at Maggie quizzically before grunting and clutching her stomach. She starts to stand up to go home.

"Why'd you do that to her?" Kyle asks.

"Shush, I'm working," Maggie says. "Tanya, wait one sec." Tanya stops. "You'll go home and start to feel better this evening. Once you climb into bed you'll realize you've had crushes on Kyle and me. You want to date both of us." She grins and punctuates the command with "desperately. Okay, Tanya, you don't need to be quiet anymore, how do you feel?"

Tanya clutches her stomach while giving Maggie an angry look. "Well, you said it yourself, loser. I feel sick to my stomach and need to go home. I think it's because you're a couple of weirdos, do you think you can use your witch powers to hypnotize me into having a crush on you? Unlock this door and let me out, perverts."

Maggie scowls at Tanya while Kyle unlocks the door. He opens it and drops the ladder.

"You can burn my character sheet. I'm never coming over here again," Tanya says as she dramatically stomps down the ladder.

After the door slams, Kyle looks at Maggie with a disappointed frown. "It didn't work."

Maggie simply smiles back at her friend and shrugs. "Oh well. Guess we should get things ready for Minh and Josh."
