Keep it like a secret

Maggie gets up from her chair and paces the room. She looks at Tanya sitting quietly with her legs spread. She's so broken hearted she wants to spit in the mind-controlled girl's face. Maggie crosses her arms and turns to look directly at Kyle. "The one thing I know we need to do is keep this a secret. That includes Minh and Josh. And, assuming whatever is going on with her works this way, we make her forget about this whole interrogation. Agreed?"

Kyle nods even though he isn't completely comfortable keeping secrets from his closest friends.

Tanya quietly watches as Maggie and Kyle discuss her fate. Internally, she's screaming having fully realized what's happened to her. In makes her mind reel trying to comprehend the situation.

She tries to catalog every moment of the last few days to figure out when she stopped making decisions on her own. She reflects on the note from Kyle suggesting she choose Josh as a lab partner. That doesn't seem like something she would ever do but she feels like it's all she's ever wanted. She considers the fact she's not at cheerleading practice and how it clearly wasn't her choice to not go. And, of course, there's the present situation where she can't close her legs or open her mouth. Maddeningly, it isn't that her body parts are fighting her. She feels like she wants to keep her legs spread even though the proper girl inside of her is telling her it isn't right. She has all of these things in her head she wants to yell and scream at the two teens, but she'd much rather sit and be quiet.

It makes her head spin and feel a little insane. She starts to wonder if she's always been this way and simply never noticed.

She keeps listening to the conversation. Kyle suggests, "can't we just make her our girlfriend? Tell her she's madly in love with us. I'm still fine with sharing."

Maggie pauses and seriously considers Kyle's option. It would be a huge blow to the popular kids if Tanya crossed sides and came out not only as Kyle's girlfriend but also her girlfriend. Maggie considers the exposed teen. She'd shoved her crush deep down a couple years ago when Tanya started treating her like less than dirt. That crush started making itself known again when she saw Tanya wearing her jacket and it roared back during that kiss in the hallway. Now when she looked at Tanya it was very much a love/hate feeling. Still, she wasn't sure that was the right path. Would it be real if it was only a command? And could she really share with Kyle? She looked at Tanya's lips and thinks about the kiss.

"I'm not sure thats how we should start," Maggie says fighting an urge to make Tanya kiss her again. "We should keep her close. Maybe we just make her our best friend? At least until we figure out how it works?"

Kyle ponders that option. "Sure, sure. Or, well, we could go the other direction. We could..." he pauses worried Maggie will judge him as a pervert.

"Spit it out. All options are on the table."

"Uh, well, she's notoriously a tease. Maybe we push her to go farther and get **** for the way she treated us. We could completely humiliate her and maybe weaponize her to embarrass the popular kids at the same time. What if we make her the school sl...uh..."

He can't bring himself to finish his suggestion, so Maggie does it for him with a devilish smile. "...slut. She'd definitely deserve it. We better decide what we're going to do fast. Minh and Josh will be here any minute."

Tanya can't believe her ears. They wouldn't do that, would they? "Make me your best friend!" she thinks at them "I'll even do it willingly! I'll- I'll even make out with both of you again!" She tries to make her eyes as expressive as possible hoping they'll let her get a word in.
