He would have sworn the head mistress would hear his heart beating, it was so loud in his chest. As his breathing slowed he rose again slowly to see if she was still there. The window was still open, but the Mistress Janna was gone. Than he saw it, Mistress Janna's ruby emerald, the one Tar'oth had ordered him to get. He thought the urge to run in and snatch it from where it sat on the dresser.

Aaralon was nervous, he couldn't hear or see Mistress Janna, but knew she was close.

"That's it pet, get Tar'oth the ruby emerald" It was the voice of the demon in his head. "You didn't think I'd let you do this little thing on your own did you." It giggled in his mind. Now be a good pet and fetch it.

Aaralon moved quickly over the window into the room, his desire to please Tar'oth the little demon bitch was stronger now. He glanced right than left. As he looked in he saw Mistress Janna in the hall talking with Avanna, a fellow student, seems she was caught doing something wrong again.

"Stop hesitating pet, get what I want and be back with you, or I may turn you into a toad." Aarolon moved quickly to the dresser, scooping up the prize for the demon. As he dove back for the window, he thought he saw Avanna's green eyes widen at the sight of him.

"Good pet." Aaralon felt the incredible power of the demon flood him with a euphoric pleasure as he obeyed. "See it's nice to please me."

"I'm not taking this to you, I'm going back in and letting Mistress Janna deal with you." Aaralon tried to fill himself with his own willpower.

"Silly pet!" He spun around at the sound of a familiar voice. It was Avanna. She stood an inch shorter than him, her blonde hair tied back in pig tails at the side of her head. They bobbed as she spoke. "did you think I'd send you in on such a mission alone. I found a weeker willed student as well after you left. This girl was so easy to take over." Avanna snatched the stone from Aaralon's hand.
