"No," Satsuki answered quickly. "We'll be fine on our own. And besides," she said as she glanced over at Kazuma. "I don't want you doing anything naughty with my boyfriend."

"Ok," Satsuki's mom said with a note of disappointment. Kazuma and Satsuki started up the stairs, but before they got far, Satsuki's mother said something else. All tone of disappointment was gone from her voice.

"Oh, before I forget. Satsuki father talked to your parents, Kazuma. They know you are going to be spending the night here."

"And they were ok with that?" Kazuma asked in total surprise.

"My husband can be very persuasive." she said with a mischievous smile. "Anyway, you two go have fun!"

He might be able to persuade my dad, but there is no way he could persuade my mom. Kazuma thought to himself as they walked up the stairs. I'm probably going to be in a lot of trouble when I get home.

"Are you ok?" Satsuki asked, noticing the worried expression on Kazuma's face. I haven't seen his parents in a long time, but I do remember his mom being strict sometimes. "If you want, you can go home to avoid getting into trouble with your mom."

"It's fine," he reassured her as they neared the door to Satsuki's room. "I can deal with me mom. And besides, I have to help you with your urges."
