Mark tells Jamie about his sister (by Vanilla Thunder)

"She's a lab tech at this... I actually don't know what they do at the company to be honest. Linda can't even tell me a lot about what she does, but she keeps normal hours and is easy to live with." Mark said. "I think it's a bio-tech company, but I'm not sure."

Jamie wondered a bit about Linda, and then was pleasantly surprised that she was okay with having a man as her roommate. Hey, maybe she's cute. Mark's not the only one who deserves to find love after all.

"I think you'll like her." Mark said.

Mark pulled up at another apartment building, and Mark parked the car. He led Jamie over to the door and rang the intercom. Jamie was still wondering about what Linda would be like, and was sorta spaced.

"It's me. I'm here with Jamie." Mark said into the speaker.

"Come on up!" Linda said over the speaker.

The door buzzed and they walked in. Jamie was slightly self-conscious as his heels clicked on lobby's floor, but Mark didn't seem to notice. They went up the elevator a few floors until they reached Linda's apartment. Mark knocked and Linda answered.

She looked a lot like Mark, same hair color, similar facial features, except that she wore glasses. She immediately outstretched her hand to Jamie.

"Nice to meet you." Linda said.

"Likewise." Jamie said.

"Wow!" Jamie thought. She didn't even flinch at his dress or anything else! This is gonna work out fine.

"Come on in, both of you. Anyone want coffee, or tea or anything?" Linda asked.

"Tea, please." Jamie said, remembering his issue with his voice before.

"I'm so sorry about your apartment." Linda said as she started making the tea. "I can't even imagine."

"I'm just glad I was with Mark." Jamie smiled and turned to Mark.

"He's a great guy, and an even better brother." Linda said as she returned with a cup of tea and handed it to Jamie.

"So, I think I'll let you guys get settled. I'm gonna head home, but I'll come back tomorrow to check in on everything." Mark said.

"Goodnight, and thank you again." Jamie said, standing up to shake his hand, but Mark leaned in and kissed his forehead.

"Any time." Mark said. "Goodnight, Linda."

"Night, Mark." Linda said as Mark walked out and closed the door.

"So..." Linda started.
