Thornton tries to Fuu

"Fuu Teoming... a strange woman to have aboard our ship." Thornton stood facing away from Fuu. The first mates cabin wasn't a particularly large room, but he had set it up rather well. A bookshelf well stocked with ornately bound tomes stood next to a well organized desk. A few well curated pieces of artwork clung to the walls next to various maps. Finally, his bed lay in the back corner.

"It is strange to find a follower of The Path in a town like Arañilla, though I've heard they send their servants throughout the lands." he seemed to be musing to himself more than anything.

"You've done some research, I see." Fuu said. Thornton turned, finally meeting her gaze. His eyes only stayed on her face for a moment before wandering down, taking in her shapely body.

"Indeed. Perhaps more than you have yourself. That dancer girl you travel with, for example. Did you know that she is the heiress to a house in Gallia, then Queens land? Countless nobles would pay more than a pretty penny to have her in their clutches." Fuu started to respond, but he kept speaking. "Or that little blond waif. If my memory suits me, and I promise it does, she is sought after by one of the very pirates we are hunting now. I dread to think what would happen to her if she were found out and turned over to them."

"You've made your point." Fuu said. She had taken this man for a snake, and it seemed her instincts hadn't lead her wrong. She kept her demeanor calm. The worst thing she could do was let him get under her skin. "What is it that you want from this?"

"I have made some points, yes, but not all." Thornton kept his grin, hands idly playing with a pen he had plucked off of the desk. "Your group, for example, is on a mission for the Kingdom's young prince at the moment. A mission you shall almost certainly fail without our aid--unless I am mistaken. And, I could go on but it seems I am starting to bore you."

Fuu just watched him, trying to keep her expression unreadable.

Thornton frowned. "You're somewhat less fun that I had hoped." he shrugged. "No matter, I'm not after your unending charm. Disrobe and satisfy me, and I shall keep my silence for now. Though, unfortunately, I cannot promise that I shall not ask for more in the days to come. You understand how it is."
