When you arrive at the Infirmary, you find it busy with limping, moaning Broom Polo players from House Leontes. You gather there must have been some sort of mishap during practice.

You've never seen your favorite member of House Leontes, Golondrina Redmoor, riding a broom. You wonder if she would be good at it. Fay sits a broom like a sack of potatoes, and you're not the most graceful. But Lolo has such physical strength and confidence, you're sure she could practice up into it.

And then of course, the Warden of Leontes, Barbara Torch, is skilled at flying a broom. You could easily imagine her posture like a general mounted upon a rearing horse.*

But all your imaginings can't distract you from the throbbing pain in your backside.

Sighing, you leave the broom polo players and their injuries and head back to your room. But you can't get comfortable, especially with Fay gone to detention. You get up and go in search of the Wardress Euryale, robed, hooded and veiled to conceal what the scholars of your House suppose to be a visage of horror.
