Rush Into the clearing

Unable to think clearly, you run as fast as you can to the clearing. As you burst into it your eyes meet a deer and you know it is the end. For a moment you both stand there and then the deer runs away. You look around in vain as your body contorts in pain but you know there is no salvation hiding in the forest.
