You forgot about your mother

As you ponder where to go, you are being reminded of a little problem when you hear your mom shouting from downstairs.

“Zoe, did you get your brother to drive you yet? Should I come up and make him do it?”

“Shit”, you mutter under your breath. You completely forgot about driving Zoe to see her colleges. Not only that, but you also realize that there is no way you can somehow convince your mother to let you go outside dressed like this.

Nearly defeated, your eyes wander to the mirror where Zoe’s reflection greets you. Seeing her in that black dress, and thinking about what you could do in this situation gives you enough motivation to consider the following.

“It would be a waste to give up right now,”, you walk to your room and grab the ray gun off the floor, “and mom can’t be mad at what she doesn’t know, right?”, you reason with yourself.

With the gun in hand, you make your way downstairs and position yourself in a way so you can zap your mother unnoticeably.

Being this close makes you second guess yourself since this could get you into a much deeper mess.
