A kink appears

Spencer woke up to find the only company he had was a note from Jessica waiting for him:

'You looked so peaceful so I didn't want to wake you up. See you soon

-Jessica'

He got out of bed and took a shower before heading back to his house. For the rest of the day, he did his best to focus on his freelance assignments whilst thinking of the potential of his new relationship. He knew Jessica was going to change him as a person, and introduce him to things he never thought he'd like. For six years, he never thought he'd feel that about another woman, but Jessica did have him feeling exactly that.

When it came time to pick Amy up, Spencer pulled up in front of Carter JHS. Amy got into the car, where Spencer asked "How was your day?"

"Okay, I guess."

Spencer could tell by her dejected tone that the day had been anything but okay. "You sure?"

"I had bit of an argument with a teacher."

"Wh-which teacher?" Spencer stammered.

"Miss Wolfe."

Spencer's heart sank upon hearing his lover's name. After a deep breath, he said "Can I ask what happened?"

"She's just so... ugh, pushy. Like I'm on my phone whilst on the sidelines and she still chews me out for it."

As much as he doubted Amy was actually allowed to be on her phone during classs, he decided to stay neutral for now. Back home, he snuck away to his study before texting Jessica:

'so what happened today with Amy?'

'nothing that major'

'Well, she didn't take it well'

'If thats the case she shouldnt b on her phone'

'so thats not okay for her to do??'

'not at all. Im not going to giv her special treatment just because we're a thing either'

'thats fair I just wanted to know what happened'

'of course. hope to see u soon'

Spencer put the phone down, his head filled with doubts. He and Amy had become so close since his wife's passing, and he didn't want to do anything that may compromise that. At the same time, he hated the idea of reducing Jessica to a relationship they had to keep secret. Whatever the week held for him, he knew it would be a test.
