Richard comes home

As Jess' mom gets ready to go to the store, she opens the front door...

"Oh! Hey there honey, I'm just running to the store really fast to pick up a few things, do you need anything?", Jess' hears her mom say.

"No, I'm good but make sure you grab more chocolate ice cream, Jess seems to go through that like there's no tomorrow.", Richard replied, letting his mother pass him so he can make his way inside.

Seeing Richard after what she did earlier made her cheeks blush. He looked better than she pictured in her thoughts too. His was sturdily built, having more muscles than the average guy but not too much, just enough to be in healthy shape. To Jess however, what he had was more than enough and even if he was pudgy she'd love him just the same.

Realizing she was staring, she noticed he was staring at something too but Jess didn't wonder why as her eyes flicked back to Super Mario Galaxy.

"Hey I'm not some sort of pig!", Jess shouted towards the front door, not wanting to seem fat to Richard.

"Of course not, how could my beautiful sister be anywhere close to a pig.", Richard says without a hint of sarcasm, making Jessica blush a little bit.

"Hey knock it off, that's your sister you're talking to", Julia says sitting on the other side of the couch from Jess.

Jess was surprised at the comment, not by what Jules said but that Jess forgot that she was sitting there. She got lost in her game and half expected her to leave for her date by now.

"What? Can't I recognize that my sisters are beautiful", Richard replied in a tone that was a mix of mocking and surprise while smiling at Jules, hopping that the joke doesn't go over her head as it sometimes does.

"Whatever, I'll leave you two nerds alone, unlike you two, I have a date tonight", Jules said as she got up from the couch.

Taking her spot, Richard plops down on the couch. "Remember to bring a wrap for his willie!", he replies.

"It's not that kind of date", Jules fastly replied, starting to get red in her cheeks.

"Just make sure he know's that", Jess said in a serious tone. "I don't think you'd want 4 kids of your own do you?" Jess was referring to their own mother. She had the oldest sister, Molly, when she was just 17. Something she was looked down upon for at the time, but came to love and grow her family.

"Whatever, I'm out. Peace.", and with that Jules had her jacket on and was out the door. 'Hopefully Jules is right, I don't think she'd have a fun time repeating moms steps.' , Jess thought to herself.

With that, Richard and Jess were alone as Molly was probably at her boyfriends and their dad was working the night shift at a local mall.
