The battle swings in you favour

The battle was intense over Earth, a flurry of green and blue light filled the air. Huge warships larger than aircraft carriers were engaging the Lantern Corps at incredibly close ranges.

Suddenly Jessica’s Ring glowed and on the other end a Guardian’s voice was projected “Jessica Cruz of Earth, how are things going down there?”

“The slaves are putting up more resistance than anticipated sir. They’re ships especially are tough. They. Just. Won’t. Die” she snarled launching blasts of green light aimlessly. As Kilowog flew in behind her, four minigun constructs being emitted.

“Pull together Green Lanterns, we’re not goi-“ he yelled, before being silenced immediately.

Turning Jessica could see that he’d disappeared into thin air, all across the space all the green lanterns in the space disappeared.

“Kilowog, come in, do you copy Kilowog” asked Aya desperately.

“It’s no use, this is just like what happened on Earth. All the males disappear so that we women can be used as his slaves” she explained fearful but still confident. Then in a flash of purple light in the corner of her eye she spotted a new player.

“Star Sapphires? What are they doing here?” she asked, worried. It was strange that Hal Jordan’s old love intrest was leading them. Though in an instant it became clear why, when they screamed for Master.

The remaining lantern corps tried to fight, but each were soon beaten by the overwhelming two forces. Those that were overwhelmed were soon encased into crystal. Jessica tried to resist but soon she could feel her feet crystallise and her resistance sap, as she became encased in crystal, her mind slowly starting to weaken. Her last sight being that of her crystal tome being secured onto one of the shops, before blacking out. They had lost the battle, it was up to Huntress now.

A/N: there have currently only been about three people providing suggestions on the epilogue. And while those suggestions are great, and I hope they keep coming, I’m also hoping for more people’s suggestions
