Stunned by Perfection

The couple break through the final stretch of their hike and suddenly all the trees and brush clear up and a wide open view comes into their gaze.

"Wow!!!" Vicky says in awe as she steps forward, looking out into the distance. "Holy shit!" she grumbles under her breath, thinking she wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear.

It was pretty weird for Zack to hear Victoria curse. As at least in his mind she seems like such the innocent, friendly and loving person. So to have a view in front of the two of them that was so breathtaking that it made her curse, he knew it must be something special. As Zack looks up, his mouth drops open as his eyes go wide "Holy shit..." he repeats the same words he just heard.

Victoria rushes forward into the opening. This scenic overlook had a little paved path in a semi-circle. There were two wooden picnic tables for families, friends or lovers to sit around and eat, drink or enjoy some pleasure at. Beyond that, there was a wooden fence that went right up to the edge of this hill that drops down at least fifty, if not one hundred feet ahead of them. The best part of the entire scenic overlook was that it was high up over Silver Lake and if you were standing at the edge with your hands on the wooden fence protecting your fall, you could observe the entire lake. You could spot many cabins that were lower around the water level and you could even notice the sun off in the distance slowly setting behind the trees.

"This is beautiful!!" Vicky preaches out as her hands grip steady on the wooden railing. Her body pivots slowly back and forth, sucking down the entire sight of the dazzling vision before her.

But Zack's stare wasn't looking at the marvelous landscape before him, instead he was focusing on something else, "Yes it is..." Zack was a few paces behind the blonde girl but he still saw the same fascinating sight. As his eyes peer onward, he saw that impeccable woman happily jog forward and throw herself against the wooden fence. As she did, her blonde hair tied back in a pony tail flutters through the air and beams of sunshine shot through her locks. As her head pivots back and forth, soaking in the sight it causes Zack to zone out even harder, watching the glistening sun bounce off the gorgeous creature before him "Absolute perfection..." he whispers to himself as he came to a halt in his tracks. He wasn't even focusing on the view of the lake or cabins but instead was completely infatuated with the blonde haired girl before him.

"Oh my god, Zack!" Vicky continues to scour the area, looking around the lake and taking in all the sights "With the sun setting too, this is..." her body going all giddy "Gorgeous!!!!!" she hops in her step as her hands grasp the wooden fence even tighter, her body coursing with excitement. "Isn't this..." she falters slightly "Isn't this..." she hops a few more times "Isn't this amazing!!!" she drones on.

"Yes..." Zack groans out to himself, not loud enough for Victoria to hear "Yes it's amazing..." he mumbles to himself again as his eyes continue to glaze over on the woman before him.

"Zack..." Vicky questions again "Zack?" she says one more time "Zack?" she stops and turns in her step to glimpse at the man she was calling. As she faces his direction, she sees that very same man staring at her with such a stupor look. "Uhhh, Zack?" she asks again as her hands go to her hips and she pivots in her step.

He almost doesn't even react to her questions until he notices her eyes are looking at his own. "O-Oh yeah...Yeah, Vic!" he shakes his head, regaining his focus "Yeah, this is amazing!" he smiles as he steps forward, bringing his body up to the same wooden railing that she was just at. He grips his hands around it, squeezing it tight as he gazes off into the distance.

She only raises an eyebrow at the brown haired boy as he responds to her and then immediately moves up and looks off into the distance. "What's up with that?" she thinks to herself "Was he...was he checking me out?" her mind races with thoughts "No way, no way at all..." she convinces herself as her head tilts and watches the man grip down on the wooden railing and stares off into the horizon.

In Zack's mind he was nervous, he was scared that Victoria caught him checking her out. "Dude, just be cool." he repeats in his head "Just be cool, don't be a douche, just be cool..." he repeats in his head over and over "Hold the railing and stare off in the distance...act normal dude." he thinks to himself "Just play it cool, play it cool and don't do anything stupid..."

"Hmmm..." Victoria ponders as her eyes watch the man stare off into the distance "Gorgeous, isn't it?" she asks the brown haired man before her.

"Yup!" he immediately responds not wanting to get caught off guard again, "This is just...wow." his head turns to the side and cracks her a smile before veering off into the distance again.

Both her and Zack beam off over the lake at this breathtaking overlook, gazing into the spectacular view of the sparkling lake, the ravishing cabins, the dazzling landscape and the vibrant sun slowly fading beyond the horizon...
