The Bravos observe the city and consider their options

When the lizardfolk had both had their fill with Liv, they dropped her unceremoniously on the ground and began to walk away, leaving her screaming obscenities at their receding outlines. Emmaline quickly hurried over to help her to her feet, but Liv shrugged her off, climbing up to a seating position on her own.

"Fat lot of help you all were." Liv said, glaring at each of them in turn.

"As I was explaining to the others, I feel it would be best if we--" Fuu started to say.

"Yeah-- I was right here! I heard you, you know... while they were **** me!" Liv snarled.

Fuu watched her like a toddler throwing a tantrum, and when it was clear Liv was finished, she spoke again. "For now, we should concern ourselves with escaping this situation. I know none of you want to be considered slaves for any longer than I do. From what I know, we would have several ways to do this."

The four of them drew in closer together, but Liv still seemed jumpy, keeping her head on a swivel to watch out for any approaching lizardfolk. At least for now, however, the massive room was empty but for the four of them.

"First, that priest seemed to suggest that we might be able to prove ourselves in combat and be granted freedom. I do not know how that would be done, but perhaps they have some sort of gladiatorial fights. He also mentioned freedom through religious right, I believe and we already know that Coatlique at least can speak the common tongue, so that might be a place to start."

"Oooh! I have one!" Robin spoke up. "Maybe they have things they need done which we could help out with, like killing monsters or something! That would be right up our alley!"

Fuu nodded encouragingly, but Liv just shook her head. "Or, we could say 'screw off' to the whole 'following the rules of **** monsters' thing and just fucking leave!"

"That is also an option, I think" Emmaline chimed in, mostly just teasing Liv
