A Path To Choose

Three days. That's how long you had to stay cooped up in that room before Queen Bree eventually said Lexie should be good to leave if needed. You were grateful for what Bree did and were as happy as could be because Lexie was for the most part doing well, still a little sore and getting stomach cramps and discomfort every once in awhile but overall she was feeling much better.

Lexie was getting back to her normal self, Zoe was annoying the ever living fuck out of you and Bree rode your dick at least another dozen or so times within that time period. Being literally imprisoned in this chamber for an additional three extra days where you couldn't do anything but sit, sleep, talk, eat and fuck was causing you to go absolutely crazy so when Bree finally gave the all clear that Lexie should be okay to leave, you couldn't be happier.

It did allow you to think a lot because Lexie and Zoe would constantly be able to go walk around the old Karisi house, now a Barracks holding many warriors of Rathkin. When they were gone you would either do the deed with Queen Bree or you would just ponder about the days to come.

There were two thoughts in your head about what to do. With Lexie healing up and Zoe being herself, you thought you could either make the journey over to Loner's Reach, it's about only a day or so away from Rathkin from what you found out. If you could meet with Shade, assuming he's even there, then quite possibly he might know what Rathkin is up to. If that was the case, maybe you could stop whatever they were planning before it's too late.

This would also allow you to check out Loner's Reach, meet with Shade in his own turf and hopefully get to know the man a little more. Also, there is the chance you could ask for his assistance in the fight to come with Rathkin. The more help you have the better. The biggest risk of this option is if Shade isn't even there or when you show up you can't find him as it would make the entire trip just null and void.

The other option, was taking a small road trip with your girls over towards Nillix to just relax and have some fun. After that, then quite possibly find out where Ashe and Rynlee are to meet up with them. You know those High Commander's of yours are helping Rathkin fight off Errian forces in some of the outer cities and you figure if you could somehow just ask Rixx, he may be able to tell you which cities.

You still don't know Rynlee all that much as you only met her one time before but Ashe, you actually really miss Ashe a lot. You've grown quite fond of that red headed feisty Sunrider of yours and you just hope she's doing well.

The day is coming to an end and Lexie, Zoe and yourself are all sitting around the table in the Chambers, eating your daily meals and catching up.

"So you guys, Loner's Reach or Nillix?" you ask "Any thoughts?"

"I don't even know what Loner's Reach really is but it sounds...lonely?" Zoe purses her lips and her forehead scrunches as she thinks "But you said this Shade guy might know some info?"

"Truthfully I have no idea. All I know is he has eyes and ears apparently all over the continent so if anybody is going to know something it would be him."

"Yeah, but even though he's friendly with you, the trip itself could still be dangerous." Lexie rebuttals "Plus that's just putting us farther away from the Syndicate when we actually want to go back home."

"But no time like the present!" Zoe cheers "Let's go! If Rathkin and Syndicate are going to war, who knows if we'll ever make it there! I for one would love to see this place! This, run down city, this bandit filled kingdom, murderers, rapists, thieves and Queen Fuckers all together!"

"Is there a Queen of Loner's Reach?" Lexie laughs "If not, does Darien even want to go?" she leans her head over to you, resting it on your shoulder as her arms grip around your arm.

You exhale "Har de har, real funny you two. And no, I don't believe there is a Queen, not that I"m aware of. I don't even think there is a King? I believe Shade supposively runs the Reach but I don't think he calls himself a King?" you throw your arm around Lexie, pulling her in close.

"But if we go to Nillix, we can have some fun in that neutral city, just relax and enjoy ourselves. We would be closer to not only Ashe and Rynlee but also closer to the Syndicate when eventually we head back home." Lexie tries her best to reason. "And Nillix is a safe as it's a town of all Kingdoms. I mean, Loner's Reach, a bunch of killers while Nillix is basically a friendly tourist town!"

"True, each has their pros and cons." you look between your two High Commander's "Let's take the night to think about it. We'll leave tomorrow in the morning, whether we go towards Loner's Reach to meet Shade, see if he has valuable information regarding Rathkin and maybe even quite possibly request his help or we go to Nillix, relax and rest up, know it's a safe area and eventually go find Ashe and Rynlee." you summarize the two options "Think about it tonight ladies, I'm honestly okay with either or." you smile.

It isn't long before the three of you are crashed out in the bed, getting that one last good rest before you begin your journey again. It took you awhile to actually fall asleep as your mind raced with the possibilities of each path. As you said earlier, each one has it's pros and cons and as you finally close your eyes and your brain starts to slow down, you have no clue what the best option would be...
