Kicked Out

The five minute walk back to the room where Lexie was sleeping was extremely quiet and somewhat uncomfortable for the Queen. You knew she loved what happened but she probably also felt a little awkward from allowing herself to succumb to her lust. You don't want to press the issue and cause any unwanted tension so you stay quiet and continue your march back to the room.

As you open up the door to Lexie's room, the instant it cracks open you hear Zoe start to scream "I told you he'd be back, I told you, I told you!" she wails "Darien! She's awake, she's awake, she's awake, she's awake!!!!" Zoe screams from inside the room.

Queen Bree steps in first and you are right on her heels. You don't even acknowledge Zoe at all, rude of you, but quite frankly you were just happy to have Lexie with her eyes open.

Glancing over her body she has her eyes partially closed as she must still be under the effects of the sleep aid and pain relief medicine but she also has her right hand cupping her stomach while her left had stays at her side. She is looking at you as best as she can while she gives a half-hearted grin.

"Hey..." you whisper out to her as you kneel down on the floor, bringing your face close to hers while you hold her left hand with both your own "How are you feeling?"

"Hi Darien." she smiles again "Okay I guess."

"Yeah?" you reply "Still hurting? I hope not, when did you wake up?"

"About an hour ago..." she begins.

"Zoe!" you snap your head around and look at your High Commander whose eyes immediately go wide "I told you to find me as soon as she woke up!"

"Darien, shhhh" Lexie whispers "I didn't want her to leave so I told her to stay, I knew you'd be back soon." her voice is so soothing.

"Yeah! You big jerk!" Zoe exclaims "Lexie asked me to stay so I stayed!" she stomps her foot "Plus I knew you were with Queen Bree so I'm sure she was keeping your mind off Lexie!" she looks at the Queen "Did you two do anything fun or just go and eat?" Zoe's head moves between the two of you noticing the Queen is turning a little flush. "Why are you blushing, Queen?" she tilts her head.

"It was fun, she showed me around!" you quickly tell Zoe as Bree turns to the side and begins to fumble around in one of the cabinets.

"A-Anyway..." Queen Bree starts, her voice a little frazzled "I'd like to ask Lexie a few questions and see how she's feeling."

"You up for that, Lexie?" you ask your Fiance.

"Of course." she nods at you.

"Darien, if you don't mind?" Bree questions.

You look at the Queen and raise an eyebrow before turning your attention back to Lexie. You ponder just briefly before looking back to Bree "Mind what?"

"Well I need to ask your Fiance some..." she purses her lips, thinking of the correct words to say "Feminine questions, which can be somewhat..., embarrassing to say in front of a male, especially a male she loves." she stays silent for a moment.

"Oh hell no, no way am I leaving Lexie now." you argue "She just woke up, I'm staying by her side until I get some ans..."

"Get the hell out, Darien." you get cut off by none other than Lexie herself "I love you, but I know what she's getting at and no way are you going to be here when I talk with her."

"Wh-What?!" you give her a shocked look "You want me to leave?!" your mouth drops open as she gives you a weak shrug and puckers her lips, blowing a kiss through the air at you. You turn your head to Bree, almost glaring at her for suggestion that before turning to Zoe "Really? No one wants me to stay?"

"Geez, not even married and already doesn't listen to you..." Zoe jests "Is he always like this?" which causes a chuckle from both Bree and Lexie.

"I hate all of you..." you grumble out in defeat. "But fine, whatever." you lean forward, giving Lexie a kiss on the lips before standing yourself up "How long do you need? Shall I wait right out the door or go do something for a bit?"

"It may be a little bit. I have questions to ask her then depending on those answers I'll do my best to work up some type of potion she can have." Bree informs "I'd say, give us an hour?"

"An hour?!?!" you whine "Seriously?? What am I going to do for an entire hour." you mope.

"You're a smart man." Lexie quips "I'm sure you'll find something."

"I've already ate, I've already walked around, I've already fuck...." you stop "fucking done so much..." you correct yourself, glancing at Bree who has her eyes closed.

"Well, just lay low!" Zoe says "You don't want to run into somebody that knows you're here! Plus, what if Edmin shows up! Stay out of sight!" she replies "Like, like, like, Hide and Seek! But without the seeker! Just hide! Yeah!" her head nods up and down fast.

With a giant sigh you look around the three ladies in the room once more, all three are staring at you, just waiting for you to make your exit "Ugh..." you exaggerate your annoyance "Fine, one hour!" you say to Bree "But this is it, after this, when Lexie is awake I'm not leaving her side!" you turn to Zoe to let her know that "Got it?!" you finish off your stare at Lexie.

"Geez, is he always this needy?" Zoe laughs as she directs her attention to Lexie.

"Yeah.." Lexie chuckles weakly "That's Darien for you..." her tongue pokes out, sticking it at you.

With a roll of your eyes you turn around and make your way to the door "Lexie, I love you." you nod "Bree, thank you and Zoe..." you just shrug at her. "No comment." you give her a wink.

And just like that, you close the door behind you, alone in the hallway, an hour to spare, what to do, what to do...
