With the champion currently without a challenger and no one women on the show managing to elevate herself above the pack, General Manager Paige has decided that there had to be some way to separate the wheat from the chaff and find a new number one contender for the Smackdown Woman’s title. Under strict orders from Stephanie McMahon to find a way to liven up the show Paige decided to delve into WWE’s history books and find something that hadn’t been done in a while. Something that people looked back on and remembered for good or bad and find a way to bring it back to the modern day. Finally Paige settles on the Evening Gown Pool match, a relic of a bygone era, deciding it’s risk reward factor to be perfect as a way to test a woman’s devotion to wining the championship.
