Arrangements

Carrying the plaque, you made your way to the dining area and grabbed a drink of water. There were some Greys there, as well as a few Cunis that you didn't recognize. Before leaving, you made another announcement about the upcoming ceremony for the Odyssey. Then you headed up to the command level.

After reaching the Captain's quarters, you didn't need to wait long before the door slid open, and he invited you in.

"Good morning, Sky," said the Captain. "Are you ready for the ceremony?"

"Good morning, Captain," you replied. "I have prepared a speech, and I also made this," you added as you placed the plaque on the small table in front of him. "If it is possible, I would like to have it placed somewhere on the subspace terminal."

The Captain waved his hand and the plaque floated upward, and then with small finger movements, he caused it to rotate. "That can be arranged. When the next team transfers to the subspace junction, they can place it in an area by the control room where it will be visible to anyone that ever visits this terminal in the future."

"That would be excellent. Thank you," you replied.

"A small pyrotechnic display has also been setup for the conclusion," he continued. "I will also make a few closing statements."

"I look forward to seeing it," you responded.
