Trapped House

You find a house you knew would be vacant at the time. Most of the houses are made from the same template so the Neighborhood Association had one of them as a showroom for prospective buyers. The odd thing was that it was filled with valuables. A ton of electronics especially those new smart house accessories. There were even clothes and jewelry that were kept there.

A friend of yours said when he pretended to be a buyer he noticed that a lot of the jewelry was genuine. You haven’t seen him since so he must have made it big with his haul. Sure the place might have been picked clean, but you bet they would have restocked by now.

You sneak in through the sliding glass door through the back. It was left open from what your friend said. Like taking candy from a baby you slip inside only for the door to slide back into place when your inside. You pull on it, but it’s stuck. You think there has to be another way out, a minor setback.
